I don't think is so cruel, I mean..it's the alimentary chain, btw..try use guppy/platy or molly to reproduce..they're easier than any other fish so in a couple of month if you have a quite big tank you can have a lot of fishes for yours turtles 8I have one too )Anyway, the fact that some fishes eat their eggs it's due to the fact that they're not "skilled" enough to make parents (or maybe they feel trheatened) but in a tank with the pangios I don't think so.. |

So, let's leave fishes and move on with other pets I'm glad to introduce you my "little" turtle; she's a trachemys scripta scripta and hers name's Tarty (low fantasy when I was a kid ).she's 14 years old..end now she lives in the bath in the bathroom ![]() here she's out for a ride ![]() and here's back home

Must be a breeze for water changes, just take out the turtle and pull the plug. |

I never understood why some fishes eat their eggs, seems like such a weird behavior. I bought a bunch of fishes to use as food for my turtles (they where meant to be food for turtles.. Kind of cruel but it's good for the turtles apparently
) I tried to breed them but they ate the eggs! So weird and irritating. Well, I really like your fishies



).
