There is always something going on...

I made a small survey at my school a few days ago. The question was:

Do snakes have bones?

And these are the results:

13 out of 15 students say that they don't have bones. 1 out of 5 teachers say that snakes have no bones.

It's disgusting, and I'm supposed to be in a high school.

Post your own experiences here!

Pull my finger!

Many people in my grade don't believe in narwhals.

Many people still see Velociraptors as giant lizard mutants.

and etc.

Everyone at my school still thinks that Jurassic Park was a documentary. They actually believe that dilophosaurs were 4-foot tall, frilled venom-spitters, that Velociraptors were man-sized bald lizardy monstrosities, and that Spinosaurus was Chuck Norris. I really cannot believe them sometimes.

I stand in the shadows waiting for you to return me to the light.

Woulden't the second one go under Paleological Faliures? Lol

When Zoos do something such as cull a animal that could be sent to another zoo or park.... Then feed it to another animal while children watch!

Rat snake is love... Rat snake is life

Many people here believe that porcupine can shoot their quills like those missiles. xD

And Also, some believe that Sunbeam Snake, one of our native non-venomous snake has venom that kill the victim once touching sun light....

A little scene played out today.
A few of my classmates see a trio of bush stone curlews relaxing on a stone wall (The stones are a meter thick) and then the culews sit with their ankles midway up their legs bending backwards, as they should. the other kids thought that the ankles were the knees that were freakisly deformed!

Also wolfaboos, full stop.

Was that, like, the first time they'd ever seen a bird? O.o

First time they saw a curlew, their legs are very noticeable.
Also, people on meme center have gotten moose and kangaroos confused several times.

A lot of people here called jaguars tigers... and a LOT of people think that tigers are from Africa and they live along with lions.

your not alone, my school thinks the same thing. they think the frilled lizard was venomous and descended from the dilophosaurus. xD

also, one of the students believed that at one point, snakes had wings and where thought to be the queztacoatl.

This is pretty common. A lot of people think that lions live in the rainforest just because they are called "King of the Jungle"
