Well I liked Buenos Aires Zoo when I went there around 7 years ago, but I heard it's notas good as it was now, but I'd REEEEAAAALLY like to go to Temaiken (Last time my father said we were going there we went to Mundo Marino de San Clemente de Tuyu instead so I'm really not confident that I'll ever go there... I'd also really like to go to El Tigre and to the La Plata Natural History Museum. Also, have you ever travelled in Buquebus Zoocrazy? Because I really liked Colonia del Sacramento (I even swam in the river) |

Nope, definetely not 20% of the population, South Africa is poorer than us and 50% percent of it's population is below the line of poverty, so yeah we definetely haven't got 80% of the population below the line of poverty, it's just that the money is not evenly distributed, but in this trip I've went to four African Countries, and in Zambia and Zimbabwe is saw true poverty, and it's REALLY different from Brazil... EDIT: Oops, sorry for the double-post, I didn't notice it...

I never travelled in buquebus... but i don't live in Buenos Aires ![]() I don't remember much about Mundo Marino, as i went there when i was about 5 yo and never came back... although no place that have a captive orca performing shows (or any cetacean for what it matters) is of my interest anymore. I don't support that and i won't contribute to their profit. I lived in La Plata the last 6 years while i was studying there so i visited the museum several times. Is really nice, you should go there if you can. |

Oh you live in Mar del Plata... It's because when you said you had never been to the Northern provinces I thought you meant that you lived in the South

I see. Nop, i just never travelled there. I have visited the south though. Several times. Some of the places there are my favorites in the whole country. I would love to live in San Martín de los Andes, Traful or Bariloche. Such beautiful places. Patagonian forests, lakes and mountains all around. Just majestic. And so calm and clean. I really love the south. |

I've been to Valdez and Puerto Madryn too. I went there with my school and we went on a bote to see the whales. It was one of the best experience of my life. I'm looking foward to repeat it some day. I also went to a natural history museum in town close to Madryn, where they exhibit the Giganotosaurus and the Argentinosaurus skeletons. It was also amazing. I like only some Tango songs, but i don't really like tango as a whole. Electro tango is really cool though! But i don't know much about it other that the few songs i've heard of it. |

Latin American culture is becoming a monopoly in this topic, let's spice it up with some Desi culture! (No pun intended) All I can really talk about though is food, so yeah. It's delicious. The only cuisine I have tried which can compare to stuff like Pakistan's or India's would be Italian cuisine. My suggests would be: -Tandoor chicken/Chicken tikka -Biryani (Especially chicken) -Nihari (Beef is best) -Malai tikka -Seekh kabab |

Canada, eh? Here are some facts worth knowing. -We don't say "eh" nearly as much as other countries like to think. -Our capital is the city of Ottawa -The province of Alberta is home to the Badlands, one of the best places to find late Cretaceous dinosaur fossils in the world. Albertosaurus, Troodon, Edmontosaurus, Pachyrhinosaurus, Euoplocephalus, and Stegoceras are just a few of the animals that have been unearthed in this region. -Our pacific coast boasts one of the largest areas of temperate rainforest on Earth. -Our national sport is ice hockey (I don't have much of an interest in it, but my dad loves it). -The most populous province of Canada is Ontario (which happens to be where I reside) -Our largest province is British Columbia -Our smallest province is Prince Edward Island That's all I can think of ATM.

Great idea, this topic. I like it. You learn a lot of new things here. So here we go: I'm from Belgium. That's a small country in the middle of Western Europe, between the Netherlands and France. I live in the Dutch-speaking part, in a small town 10 km from the coast. And a few facts: - The climate in Belgium is a maritime temperate climate. The average temperature is lowest in January at 3 °C and highest in July at 18 °C. - The Northern part of my country is rather flat, not much nature is left. (There are buildings everywhere) The southern part has hills, called the Ardennes with a lot of forests. (Here you can still wander through nature without encountering other people every 10 min) We also have a 100 km long coastline, with sandy beaches, and just behind that, large apartment buildings. - We have three large zoos: Zoo Antwerp, Planckendael, and Pairi Daiza. And a lot of smaller ones. - Belgium consists of a lot of different parts, and because of that we have a very complex political structure: a unique form of a federal state with segregated political power into three levels: 1. The federal government, based in Brussels. 2. The three language communities: the Flemish Community (Dutch-speaking); the French Community (French-speaking); and the German-speaking Community. 3. The three regions: the Flemish Region, subdivided into five provinces; the Walloon Region, subdivided into five provinces; and the Brussels-Capital Region. (Don't ask me to expain how it works, it's very very very very very complicated )- We hold the world record for the longest government negotiations: 512 days without a government. (Which we'll, in all likelihood, going to break in the next elections, later this year) - We have 2 kings (Albert II and Filip) and 3 queens (Fabiola, Paola and Mathilde) at the moment. - We are well-known for our chocolate, in particular pralines, but also Brussels sprouts, waffles and french fries with mayonnaise. (Yes, French fries come from Belgium ) The national dishes are "steak and fries with salad", and "mussels with fries".- We are worldfamous for our Beer. Belgium produces over 1100 varieties of beer. The Trappist beer of the Abbey of Westvleteren has repeatedly been rated the world's best beer. The biggest brewer in the world by volume is Anheuser-Busch InBev, based in Leuven. - The best police/army dogs in the world are a Belgium breed: Malinois sheepdog. - And this year we're going to win the world cup football (soccer) in Brazil.
