Your political structure is really strange xD How do you have 2 kings and 3 queens? Does that means that you have three kingdoms in the same country? xD

And how can a country be without goverment for 512 days? I can't imagine that... at least not without chaos and destruction everywhere xD

- And this year we're going to win the world cup football (soccer) in Brazil. :silly:
I'm sorry, but you won't win this. :P (Btw, Belgium will play a game in the city that I borned, Belo Horizonte. Now, I live something between 20 minutes from there by car. :D )

- Well, I live in Betim, Minas Gerais in Brazil of course.

- I live in the Cerrado. It's pretty nice, but I don't live in the middle of a savannah, it's a city. :P People from another countries tend to imagine that there are only two cities in Brazil, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, but it's not. We have several cities. The rest isn't a big florest. :P

- My state is known as a place where we are all "hicks". xD But it's not true. :P (well, not at all...)

- Our state is the home of "Pão de Queijo". People from the rest of Brazil always think in mineiros (people from Minas Gerais) as the people who eat pão de queijo all day long. xD

- We say "uai" all the time. It's an expression that can means everything. You can use it when you're angry and when you're happy, when you're surprised and when you're sad. The pronounce is exactly like the word "why".

I don't remember anything else right now, but as soon as I remember, I'll post more! Mainly about my state, as Brazil changes a lot in all of these states. :)

And btw, Zoocrazy, dulce de leche is really common in my state, we call it of "doce de leite". The culinary in my state is really diverse and delicious. Doce de leite is one of mineiros's marks. :)

Ok so here is mine.

-Nop, we are not drug dealers and the girls are not sluts ;)
-Nop we don't live in rainforest, and we neither eat snakes all day long.
-In my country there is a LOT of corruption
-Even though we have a big trouble with guerrilla nowadays, Colombia it's pretty safe i guess, i've never being kidnapped, killed or anything like that :P
-We have 4/5 tapir species in our country
-We are the country with the most bird species
-we are the country with the most Butterfly species
-We have quite a variety of food here, for example:
We eat guinea pigs
We eat armadillo
we eat agouti
we have a delicious dish, called 'frijoles' that is beans with rice, and 'encurtido' and hell it tastes delicious.
Our 'Arepas' are delicious too, and is made of corn.
We also have 'empanadas' but they are quite different from the argentinian ones
-Our capital is Bogota, and is actually quite nasty i'd say, just like any other urban area.
-I live in a city in the center of the country, and the best part of it is that is pretty small and neat
-Seeing wild animals where i see is quite often
-our previous goverments kinda suck, specially 'uribe' and his murder politics.

Great idea, this topic. I like it. You learn a lot of new things here.

So here we go: I'm from Belgium. That's a small country in the middle of Western Europe, between the Netherlands and France. I live in the Dutch-speaking part, in a small town 10 km from the coast.

And a few facts:

- The climate in Belgium is a maritime temperate climate. The average temperature is lowest in January at 3 °C and highest in July at 18 °C.
- The Northern part of my country is rather flat, not much nature is left. (There are buildings everywhere) The southern part has hills, called the Ardennes with a lot of forests. (Here you can still wander through nature without encountering other people every 10 min) We also have a 100 km long coastline, with sandy beaches, and just behind that, large apartment buildings.
- We have three large zoos: Zoo Antwerp, Planckendael, and Pairi Daiza. And a lot of smaller ones.
- Belgium consists of a lot of different parts, and because of that we have a very complex political structure: a unique form of a federal state with segregated political power into three levels:
1. The federal government, based in Brussels.
2. The three language communities: the Flemish Community (Dutch-speaking); the French Community (French-speaking); and the German-speaking Community.
3. The three regions: the Flemish Region, subdivided into five provinces; the Walloon Region, subdivided into five provinces; and the Brussels-Capital Region.

(Don't ask me to expain how it works, it's very very very very very complicated xD )
- We hold the world record for the longest government negotiations: 512 days without a government. (Which we'll, in all likelihood, going to break in the next elections, later this year)
- We have 2 kings (Albert II and Filip) and 3 queens (Fabiola, Paola and Mathilde) at the moment.
- We are well-known for our chocolate, in particular pralines, but also Brussels sprouts, waffles and french fries with mayonnaise. (Yes, French fries come from Belgium c: ) The national dishes are "steak and fries with salad", and "mussels with fries".
- We are worldfamous for our Beer. Belgium produces over 1100 varieties of beer. The Trappist beer of the Abbey of Westvleteren has repeatedly been rated the world's best beer. The biggest brewer in the world by volume is Anheuser-Busch InBev, based in Leuven.
- The best police/army dogs in the world are a Belgium breed: Malinois sheepdog.
- And this year we're going to win the world cup football (soccer) in Brazil. :silly:
So is it really just like in Asterix and the Belgians (Or whatever you call that in English Asterix Comic book names in English are so weird!) where it's all flat?

Now about my city, Niterói,it's located just in front of Rio de Janeiro, but there's a bay separating the two. Yet the distance isn't too big so you have a beautiful view of Rio de Janeiro from here. Actually a lot of our lives spin around Rio, many people from Niterói work or study in Rio de Janeiro, and as a consequence the bridge that links both cities has got traffic jams very frequently, and the ferries that transport people from city to city is not only of bad quality, but it's also crowded.
People from Rio like to make fun of Niterói, even though that is stupid, since ourcity is considered the 7th best in the entire country (Which is kind of good for the fifth largest country in the world! :P ).

Queen Fabiola was married to King Boudewijn. When Boudewijn passed away in 1993, his brother Albert got the throne. (Albert is married to Paola) But Fabiola was allowed to keep her title of Queen. So now we have 1 king and 2 queens.
In july 2013 Albert II decided to step down, and gave the throne to his son Filip. So Filip, married to Mathilde, became the new king and queen. But Albert and Paola were allowed to keep their titles of king and queen. And Fabiola is still around.

So that's how you get 2 kings and 3 queens in one kingdom with only 11 million people. c:

512 days without a government wasn't that bad. Some say it was even better than with one. A lot less arguing. xD

They're actually a lot less aggressive than pike, though they are bigger!
I've actually heard the opposite, that they are even more territorial and when people try to stock lakes with them only very few remain.
Pikes, on the other side, have more beautiful colours.

Oh and of course mooses. I wanna eat a moose one day.

Well, I can only share 5 facts that I can think of, too lazy to type or think:
1-Known for our food and shopping and stuff.
2-Really amazing wildlife, colugos, hornbills, binturongs, pangolins, and a many birds have settled in here, including various species of parrot, pelicans, lapwings, cranes, vultures.
3-Really tropical, so everyday you can't really expect what it's gonna be, one day it's really hot, the next it's raining like crazy.
4-Multiracial Society. We all get along, no matter what are or religion.
5-Victim of World War II.

I true think that Brazil won't won teh soccer cup :P I'm believing in anyone else xD I thought you from Minas eat pão de queijo all day :P :P I guess 'uai' is more or less like I saying 'tipo' all times :P

Any way, I live in the Federal District, Brazil ( :P ), in Brasilia (not really Brasilia, it's somewhere near, it's because Brasilia is the capital of Brazil, but we have many cities around Brasilia, I live in one of these. It's just 30 minutes to Brasilia :) ), all this place was made with cultures from everywhere in Brazil, so here we do all that everyone do xD

But I think we here in DF (Federal District reduction in Portuguese) are most know because chaotic public service, violence that goes everywhere, and the corruption, as the capital xD

I don't know more, I don't know my state well anyways :P

King Casque, Leader of Hornbills, you may need a history lesson of your own country.
Most of south east asia may disagree with five, considering things like the burma railway and the Rape of Nanking. but the American fire bombing was absolutely abhorrent, (japan only started to suffer after the bombing started) it could of been worse with the land invasion was planned it it weren't for the nukes.
Also with 4: when 1 ethnic group makes up 98% of your population, it's not ethic diverse.
Let's not start a flame war over this okay
From Australia, here a few things

1:Amazing wildlife and landscapes: Australia has a beautiful range of native animals and plants, even the introduced species are still worth photographing, having traveled across half the country, I have never seen an ugly landscape, sure weeds can make the land unkept, no polluted wastleands, except if it's salt.

2: nice people: a diverse society that accepts almost all ethnic groups, though I never seen native americans in Australia. most people are welcoming and acomidating

3: peaceful: without a single official war on it's soil, excluding kakoda ( under Australian ownership at the time, being attacked by the japanese) and a few bombings

4: a first world country, where most people have a decent living conditions, not as bad as america when it comes to povery

5: great mineral wealth, err now that is being gobbled up by china!
