Thanks for the comments everyone ! Next Project, everything from scratch by me, I really enjoyed this one, my first proper model for an animal ever, and I am proud of my self though I don't know what it should be rigged to, Hippo seems like the best option for now... But opinions are warmly welcomed.

Looks like you use subsurf, don't you? If yes, that's not the best option actually. I suggest try not to use subsurf, here's some useful keys to help making the model easier in case you don't know yet:Ctrl+R = for adding a new edge. G= to moves the model freely. S = to change the model's size. R = to rotate the model S+X = to change the model's thickness, must be seen in Front or Top view. S+Z = to change the model's length (horizontally). S+Y = to change the model's height (vertically). Nice work though. And for the anim I suggest using tapir's rather than hippo since it also have a trunk & could swim as well.

It looks exactly like the one I sent ZooZa a couple of days ago. The one I made for Tropical Oasis about a year ago. Are you sure he hasn't mistakenly taken a screenshot of mine, because it looks identical? lol

I can see some minor differences in the two images. The one Robbie's made looks darker and extends down to the path, while the one you made looks lighter and has a gap between it and the path. Ofcourse this may also be a combination of the lighting in the game and the angle the image was taken, making these differences. |
