Haha, it takes a while to get used to it, especially the different APIs can be annoying ![]() I've already written more than 1000 lines of source code, and most of that is devoted to the UI and accessing, changing and storing the changed data. With the task editor working (it loads tasks, can modify their data and store those modifications and load them again), it's time to start implementing the actual editing of files. Parsing the .tsk files works, when I delete a task in the program, the task in the output tsk file is also deleted ![]() Adding new tasks also works. Now gotta get the tasks themselves to update their content

Got used to the xml parser interface, the task editor is coming to life ![]() That should be the final gui for it, I've already got most of its functions writing proper tsk output files ![]()

great job Hendrix, i am amazed by the time it takes you to include new things in the program. Sounds like you are progressing very quickly. And this is very useful for all designers and people who want to start designing. Thank you very much for doing this. |

The program can now simultaneously create zoopedias for all supported languages and create the lang folder for each. ![]() And now it also creates the UI entries

Two quick questions: 1- Would it be possible to add a feature to choose animal's icons or is that superfluous? 2- If that APE 2.0 you're making can tie models and skins, does that make nifskope somehow obsolete for that? |

1. that will be included 2. no, the only possible thing would be renaming the dds link, but I'm afraid the dds will still haveto be renamed in nifskope, unless I can find out how not to destroy the nif by renaming it And anything beyond than that obviously needs nifskope ![]() Also, I've taken a different approach to editing task files. Instead of modifying the old one, now it is generated just from the saved data. A much cleaner solution

Also, you wouldn't be able to view the models. I can't wait to DL this, this will help designers greatly, also it should speed up lots of projects. |

well, this will surely be the most useful thing ever in the ZT2 designing community so far, but i hope you can make a tutorial on modding the beh and tsk files cause not many people really understand it yet (including me ).
