It might not be totally compatible, I'm not certain though, but I programmed it with 2.6 so that's what should be used to run it. It definitely doesn't work with python 3. Download the link to that .py file and put it into the python lib folder, and then you can right click zoozanne.py > Open with > Select default program > Python ![]() What did it create? Zoopedias? Did you specify a coding name? Did you get to select the output folder for the z2f? If that happens, everything works, if not there is a problem. Look in the console show a pic

Something else, if it doesn't appear or is distorted, try it with compatibility mode? Might do the trick using XP... Even though I'm running it on 8.1 and it works just fine

Wow, since I've known Modding for ZT exist, I wanted something like this. You, again, revolutionized ZT2 modding.

I didn't get to select the output folder - it just appeared in the output folder already there in the files. And it usually creates the tsk, beh, and lang files just fine, but this time it didn't even create an ai file in the entities/units/animals location. Also, I'm running on Windows 8.1, so I don't think that should be the problem. This is what the python console contained:

Ok, that is another bug with the xml parser, however one that I haven't encountered so far. Try using a different base animal ![]() For example the Giant sable antelope usually works flawless, while Aardvark or Ankylosaurus raise errors. Edited by HENDRIX, May 13 2014, 03:42 AM.

Ok - I tried to use your Japanese Serow as a base, so I'll just try the Ibex instead. Thanks! |

Ok, it's xml might be corrupt. For example, say if you put s_Product="blahblah" into the shared data more than once, it does not crash ZT2, but the library I use to parse xml files crashes. I'm trying to implement something that checks for duplicate attributes, but I'm not sure how to do it, though. Still, I've fixed a couple of errors with the xmls, the bases were deleted after coding and some other stuff... Edited by HENDRIX, May 13 2014, 09:35 AM.

I tried the Ibex, but it still doesn't let me choose where to save the files and it doesn't create the animal's XMLs. It creates everything else perfectly, but it never creates the main XMLs. Is it just the base I'm using? |

Could you try it with the sable antelope, just for a test? I think that's also using ibex nodes and has always worked for my tests
