Yap. Shark tunnel.

It's located under scenery, but works like a fence. One half-cylinder is one piece instead of the usual two, so it can be easily placed with curves, and that also brings the bonus of keeping the animals out easily. Downside is that the guests can pass through, so you'll have to create a border around it with a border fence.

I've got a few important problems solved, some will still be tricky though.
Done:
-tunnel models+skin+materials
-guests passing through tankwalls and into the tunnel
-keeping animals out of the tunnel
-rough entrance model & coding (always faces the tank wall and can only be placed there)

To Do:
-border fence to guide the guests - how should it look like?? no clue yet
-bringing the guests onto seafloor: Using the hippo seafloor walking task did't seem to work, most likely I'll have to disable the buoy nodes altogether like papapanda did - easy
-hiding the tank wall section at the entrance / exit

All I can say is wow.

I love the fact that the entrance is half of a shark's jaw, too

Invisible. That should solve everything :P

And I'd like to say great job, but this is more than a great job ...

Isn't that very hard to place properly? :P Would obviously look best, though xD

Then perhaps something like ZD's aviary fences, which is basically a dark line on the ground and can easily be hidden by anything placed on it ?

Oh yes yes yes yes. I've been hoping someone would crack this puzzle for such a long time. Awesome! I can't wait to see all the shark tanks people make for their S&Ts once this is finished! Bravo, Hendrix!

Looks wonderful, I love the fact that you can actually make curves with this one :D
For the border fence, I'd say a pretty short fence that is visible enough that it's easy to place but small enough that it will be hidden when placing the actual tunnel.

I don't think the tunnel would hide the border fence, as the curved edges of the tunnel are very different from the curves that you could create with ZT fences at that place. Of course it'd work for straight fences, but the curves make it tricky. xD

The guests are much more cooperative than expected; it works very well without their buoy nodes. They're happy and they watch the animals - perfect!
