I agree with ZKG. People disturbing an exam are obviously not interested in good grades :P
I've never personally seen it happen at my school (personally because I don't think anyone is dumb enough to do it) but I really can't see why anyone would risk being expelled from taking any future exams just for not shutting up for a period of time.

The thing is, some teachers use this as an excuse to fail students that they´ve got a kind of grudge on. There´s only 2 teachers who do this, though.

That's terrible! But it still is really annoying if someone is snuffling in the next row, let alone talking when I'M TRYING TO REMEMBER MY COSINE RULE!

Not counting the test if the student talks or is found cheating has happened here too.
Not often (I remember it happening only twice), but it happens.

WElcome to the corrupted system of elementary and high school education in India ! And it's particular features are:

1) Corporal punishment- with rulers, sticks, throwing pointed pens, and knives(?)
2) 20 minutes recess in 5th standard and gradual decrease by 4 minutes in classes higher and higher. Therefore, no recess in 11th and 12th standards.
3) Tuitional grudges-"oh, that boy studies in the tuition of THAT teacher. I will make sure he gets nearly failing marks, so that he can come to my tuition and I gain more money!" quotings of a teacher ...
4) sleeping teachers- the name says it all.
5) all duties to the monitor/student council president- like solving mysteries, fights, collecting test papers and bringing them to the staff room (hehehehe), maintaining discipline in assembly, getting hold of students with a funny relationship, nd then complaining their parents etc. And sadfully, I am the monitor !

And wait.......... there are more !

The best way to not get your heart broken, is pretending you don't have one.

None of that is how our Student council is, they can't even look into the staff room.

I think my favourite corrupt action of the week has been the fact my school apparently can't afford to buy paint for the art department yet they put out a big spread of food for visitors who were trying to get the contract for our new catering service.

Welcome to UK schools folks. -.-

Detention. At various time of the day.

Or you can get put on report.

Or just made to stand up in class. Or change the seating plan so you no longer sit next to who you want to sit next to.

Or if your really bad you can get isolation or set home. An then if it is really really bad again and again you will get chucked out.

In games/PE they will just make you run laps of the field (it is pretty big) for the whole lesson.

Lol, ZKG my school is completely out of most colours of acrylic paint. xD If you want to paint in acrylic something that isn't a shade of purple pink or grey your screwed. xD

Isolation is the single most ridiculous thing created within the UK education system, it's basically playing into a troublesome child's hands because they're getting the attention they crave.
