It depends on the consent. You can consider two continents or one continent and three subdivisions (South, Central and Northamerica). Both are considered valid, and in school i was taught the last one: one continent (America) and three subdivsions. I already saw this discussion in other places on the internet... in USA you are taught geography in a different way that other countries, so lets end this pointless and off-topic discussion. |

Here's what Oxford has to say: Definition of America in English: America Syllabification: A·mer·i·ca Pronunciation: /əˈmerikə / (also the Americas) 1A landmass in the western hemisphere that consists of the continents of North and South America joined by the Isthmus of Panama. The continent was originally inhabited by American Indians and Inuits. The northeast coastline of North America was visited by Norse seamen in the 8th or 9th century, but for the modern world the continent was first reached by Christopher Columbus in 1492. 1.1Used as a name for the United States. Origin the name America dates from the early 16th century and is believed to derive from the Latin form (Americus) of the name of Amerigo Vespucci, who sailed along the west coast of South America in 1501. We're all right, end of story, Now let's please get back on topic. |

I have not put you in the group, I made a comment in general on the subject of geography, and a separate one for you on the worm, sorry if misunderstanding, about Caecilian, I did not think it was a joke, it seemed to me an interesting species to create. For others, prefer guessing rather than continue discussing about America, regardless of the country or what is learned in it, America is America, is not South, Central or North America, and certainly are not the U.S.A I think it is not necessary to give more laps.

Sorry about, and the Caecilian is a very interesting species indeed, but the extant of the joke was about the animations. (It still would be interesting though) Anyway, can't wait to see what you have in store for us. The plants look nice, thanks!
