@King Casque, if you live in Singapore you're lucky, they've got some of the best zoos on earth, you should go to some of their zoos, including River Adventure which is the best aquatic zoo EVER! I stayed there for 4 weeks, and it was an amazing experience. (I got to go inside underwater world while they were topping up construction in Sentosa.) My Uncle is one of the people who helped fund the projects in Sentosa and in the zoos, that's how we went there and got that kind of access.

I've seen quite a lot of animals, but here are a couple I want to see.
-Basking shark
-Sperm whale
-Scimitar Oryx
-Sumatran Rhino
-Great White Shark
-minke whale
-Oceanic White tip
-Orcas in the wild
-Beluga Sturgeon in captivity or in the wild (Which I may see when I go to Atlanta in June)
(Next 6 I may never see them, but I can still dream)
-Frilled Shark
-Javan Rhino
-Giant Squid
-Kakapo
-Vaquita
-Speartooth Shark
PS: In my opinion some of the enclosures that house dolphins (not Orcas) are pretty good actually. A lot of those guys who make those enclosures work really hard to keep them happy. Also, those dolphins are treated like royalty, best food, no garbage in their water, and free of predators. Orcas however, I agree with, they should get a lot more space or not be kept in captivity at all.

I don't agree about keeping dolphins in captivity either... at least not the most social and inteligent species like the bottlenose dolphins, but that doesn't mean that they are not getting good care in most of the places. But even with good care orcas don't belong in captivity. Their life span is reduced considerably. In the wild they can live up to 70 years.. in captivity most of them die before they reach 30 years old. They are extremely inteligent and social creatures. They need to live in large groups. They are also migrating species so having extra space is not enough. They got depressed in captivity as no matter how good the caring conditions are they are not suitable for living in a tank and perform tricks. I know i may sound extreme but in my opinion it should be banned to keep orcas in captivity anywhere in the world.

Excluding all those kinds of animals that I'd see in zoos only ?

A living wels catfish up close (saw only a dead one and a small one caught by a fisher in the distance), loaches, south-european nasen, wild adders (saw one in a zoo only), wild red deer (saw one in a semi-wild condition in a hunting reserve), wild porcupine (saw only in zoos), tiger salamanders, sharks of any kind, italian wolf, alpine ibex and alpine marmot.
It looks like I can remove the loach from my list :)

I'm not slow! That's just my moe!

only 2 sea turtle species left to see

Flatback (Natator depressa)
Leatherback (Dermochelys coriacea)

and the only ones I've ever seen in the wild are green sea turtles
but I don't consider that as pertinent as seeing one at all

If you see blackfish it's a biography about orcas and why they have killed people in captivity. It's is really sad.

This is if zoo animals count

I have never seen a octopus, any kind of monitor, Arowona ( I think that's how you spell it  ), discus ( I'm going to have a 150 gallon tank when I'm older with them hopefully), Orangutan, any whale, dolphin, porpoise,or beluga, Hippo, giant panda, puffin, hedgehog, Martin, moose, beaver, skunk, hyena, warthog, toucan, owl, fox, coati, badger, bobcat, lynx, serval, wolverine, tapir, markhor, ibex, and jaguar/ leopard (except the snow leopard)

If type refers to species, then there's only one type of wolf. :P

I don't get how you have managed to never see any species of shark x_x

to me they are just so commonplace it seems weird NOT to have seen one
I see them all the time, even the pet stores around here have known to on rare occasion stock sharks, Japanese bullhead, catsharks, and even dogfish, I've heard stories of a lemon shark many years ago that was owned by the manager and on display in the store

I see them wild too, I've hit one in my kayak one time (poor thing xD )

Nope,no sharks here in Egypt,even all the "Marine Parks"....if i'd even call them that,just contain a billion dolphins,1 or 2 beluga's,fish,more fish,more dolphins,octopus more dolphins,sea lions oh yeah and also Dolphins :3
Umm,different species of dolphins? NO just Bottlenose...Welcome to Egypt, not to mention the cruelty to animals.
Did i go off topic? sorry if i did.

*EDIT: i think i've only seen small species of sharks, like the ones that live in freshwater and stuff.

I've never seen any cetacean, iirc there's no dolphins in captivity in the UK (which is a good thing, I'd much rather see them in the wild)

One of the things I want to do before I die is to see all species of Sea Turtle in the wild (not in captivity) although I guess it's more 'before they go extinct' than before I die :S

I'll be crossing two more off the list though in 2 weeks time! I'll be going to Costa Rica and working with the Green Sea Turtle and Leatherback Sea Turtles laying eggs! :D Ahh so excited!

Need to edit my list, let's say I wanna see a Big wels catfish.
Otherwise, I can see a very small one every day I go in my garden.
