Pull my finger!

Well, I was bored and went on YouTube. Saw these 2 videos of koalas being other than cuddly: Here, 2 koalas are viciously attacking and roaring at one another: In this video, a koala chases a keeper and brawls with a quokka (goes in a fight 2 times!): 2 koalas in the wild challenge each other: 2 wombats fighting: An older video but a rescued wombat attacks a keeper at a rehab center: After watching some of these videos, I decided to look this photo, as well as reading up on some reports: Wombat chasing emu ![]() I've read that captive wombats are very aggressive toward humans, giving them nasty bites, as well as koalas using their claws, suited for climbing, to scratch predators. So, is there a conclusion to this? ![]() Edited by Fluffs, May 31 2014, 07:30 PM.

Well, animals don't survive because they are cuddly, they survive because they can defend themselves. |

I agree on this. Everyone, remember that before you think these animals are cuddly, they're not. It seems like many people forget that they are wild animals and that they can deliver some savage wounds. |

Don't want to imagine if Diplotodon has the similar aggressive behavior.... |

I actually find it less likely, surely it may have been aggressive but since it already had size on its side I guess it was already a good defense, making it less aggressive in proportion. |

So can domesticated animals. My cat may appear cuddly and squishy, but she will scratch if you try to touch her and she not even feral. |

if you know how to approach them, any animal can be awarded a degree of trust except humans, they are the sneaky ones

You it's kind of odd learning about this, since originally I thought the Koala at least would be too inactive due to the type of diet it had to really be an aggressive species whatsoever. I admit I must've underestimated these things to be honest, as they personally never came across as an animal that is fully capable of being violent to any major degree aside from obvious notes such as fights over territory or mates. |
