They're the brown and white ones with a black head. They're all over cities and have no fear of man and vehicles, and the state I live in makes it illegal to kill them, even if you hit one because one stupid goose decided to walk in front of you while you are going down the highway at 45 mph
damn geese where'd you get a license >:(

I'd get if they were rare or such that hunting them would be banned
but seriously, hitting them in a car, that's overkill on the protection

oddly enough, this part of Canada doesn't even have Canada geese xD

At least those cats are usually killed humanely. Has anybody heard of the Stephens Island wren which got eradicated by cats and the only dead specimen we have was chewed up by a cat and this bird was driven to extinction before people realized it was a new species.
Edit:The first specimen was chewed by cats. The others I don't know.
It was one cat. The only recorded case of a single organism killing an entire species.

@AVDDPS, You know how idiotic your post sounds right? We have no real proof of where cats actually came from but the link above shows some theories. They destroy entire bird species (Even though you know, birds have a advantage with flying and all) not entire Species as a whole. This is like saying they will kill off a deer species, or a cougar species. Also, I doubt you see many feral cats in the deserts of Arizona.

Not all birds fly. Not all birds are scared of cats. Birds also have to sleep.

It isn't on topic at all, really, because no one is talking about the forum posts there, which IS the topic

Getting tired of people complaining about going off topic to. We're just talking

Anyway, coyotes have to be managed like any other species in a perfectly humane way hopefully using as much of the dead animals as possible. Pretty obvious.

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

It was one cat and then all of its offspring and between 10 and 30 other cats later brought to the island which exterminated the wren, the "one cat" story is a myth.

I still think my cat/coyote hybrid idea is good. It'd be so much simpler to kill both at once. Maybe we could even splice in some chicken and/or birds. That way everything can be eradicated in twice the time.

but the whole point of killing them is primarily to protect birds :P

Yea but if we just go ahead and exterminate humanely slaughter all of them at once we've avoided the problem of protecting the birds entirely because there are no more birds to protect. We can then let our free range rabbits out unattended with peace of mind knowing they are safe.

yes
nature exists purely to cater to the needs of humans and livestock

its meant to be free food, not a complex system necessary for survival of the planet

JK incase that somehow wasn't obvious

It's that kind of mindset that's going to wind us up living someday on a practically barren planet populated only by plants, birds, rodents, and insects.

Heck, why not make one huge hybrid of every living organism on the planet so we can kill EVERYTHING, as we're probably going to end up doing anyway. Should be simple enough.

And as we slowly starve in the vast wasteland that remains, we will be content in the knowledge that we can spend our last days with the planet all to ourselves. :P

The best way to not get your heart broken, is pretending you don't have one.

But I can't eat a person! You can get diseases from that! But we could live off of dirt and sand :D
