And no, apparently is not enough since we are still overpopulating the world.

It's just the natural cycle.

That argument could work for irrational beings that have not moral responsabilities over their actions whatsoever, but not for the human race.

I'm not slow! That's just my moe!

I know its meant humorously but being grateful for things like natural disasters and even murder is incredibly sadistic

just saying...

I'm grateful for abortion, it not only controls the population but its done humanely
unlike the things you guys are suggesting

Indeed.

Overpopulation is a very serious issue though. I read somewhere that China is making floating cities to house their evergrowing populace.

I'm not grateful for natural disasters. My point is that the human race have the knowledge and technologies to control their population. They also have the option to not destroy the environment, yet we choose to do it anyway. Animals don't have any of those options.

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

I see coyotes very, very often here (in Indiana, no less. D:)

They don't bother people. I've come to within 13 feet of one before during a hike - when it saw me, it ran. I regularly see them scavenging roadkill along highways, but if you stop to look at them, they run back into the woods. They do eat cats, but cats shouldn't be outside in the first place, so good for them. There are very, very few recorded cases of coyotes killing people also, and of all, I think that all were hybrids, and only one instance was active predation - in a pack upon a very small woman; a very aberrant case.

Who's really the monster (oh just in theory of course, I'd never point fingers...)? Someone who starves their pets - or a coyote trying to survive?

Also leghold trapping is horrendous, though mousetraps (snap traps, not glue traps), if carefully monitored, are pretty humane.

We know how to conserve the environment with efficient technologies. The problem stems from public opinion. It all boils down to whether or not the public wants their taxes spent on something like species conservation. Sadly, some politicians aren't that smart, and don't give a rat's arse about conserving our environment and finding affordable and accessible alternative fuels. That's why we still use oil and coal.

This pretty much sums up the coyotes in my neighbourhood as well.

the max number of children law is also a good practice
there are people here with 5-6 kids, its nuts

I knew you guys were kidding about the natural disasters, I just felt I needed to point that out

@Sheather we don't even have any "pure" coyotes here anymore
they are all hybrids and they are all vicious here, or at least vast majority are

Luckily for me, I've never had to deal with anything like a coyote or coyote/wolf hybrid. The worst I've had was some coons and red foxes, which did a number to the flock of ducks my family tried to raise.

As for my pets, my two cats and three dogs all go out during the day and in at night, so there is little confrontation with coons or foxes.

The best way to not get your heart broken, is pretending you don't have one.

But we live in two different parts of Indiana, The population of their prey is running low so then they become dangerous.

Also about Cats eradicating your beloved Damn Birds, there isn't a lot we can do about that because there are feral cats around here and if we were to take them all into a animal shelter we would be taking the lives of let's see, around 2000 some cats.

And yet again it was a f***ing mouse that was forgotten while I was away, I know someone here has to be guilty of not feeding their goldfish everyday.

I don't see why you are saying cats' lives should be saved, while Coyotes should die, when they are doing the exact same thing (trying to survive)

If anything, the cats are worse, because they kill even when they're not hungry (and in the case of domestic cats, know they're going to be fed)
