I'm going to make a readable tutorial. It will be easier to understand since if I need to change the text I will.

Here is a link to the higher terrain hack download: https://sites.google.com/site/lczoocreations/tutorial-downloads

Here is a readable version of the tutorial "How do I change the terrain height limit in a zoo?"

I tried to explain it in the tutorial. Was it hard to understand? I'm so sorry I hope I didn't confuse you! So anyway you have to mesh that! The end of the tutorial should explain how that works! If your having a hard time let me know and I'll post another tutorial on how that works. You have to mesh the file. It is a .nif file. You would create your own mod for it in the game! Ya I'm probly gonna make a tutorial on that. BTW did you get the zoo resized ok?
Your tutorials are great and easy to understand. It was just that last part that was a little confusing. Also, I haven't actually tried to resize my zoo yet. Like I said before I don't understand how you actually fit it to the size of the zoo. Do you do that in the nif file or something, or do you do it in the xml file. And which part of the files do I need to edit for size?

You can follow the last tutorial to edit the size of the zoo! You have to mesh the skirt like you do with an animal. It is an object and is not edited by an xml with text but by model. I just created my own for a 150 grid zoo! I will be publishing that one!

So I was wondering if I could get feedback from anyone els. Did the resizing a zoo work for anyone els? Besides creating a new skirt?

I gave the tutorials a go and both worked out brilliantly, the results for me were mountains up to height 1000 and a 300x300 map.

This is an image of a small herd of Argentinosaurus on said map, this is also the max amount of the map that I can fit on the screen at once, bearing in mind that the zoom hack I use can fit the entirety of M3's 160x160 map on screen using it.

Of course my only problem was the lack of detail when it came to skirt editing but that's literally it, I'm more than satisfied with the results I've garnered with what has been provided so far and thus I must congratulate you LC on these tutorials, they are extremely helpful with their subject matter and are very clear in terms of instruction.

That'd be awesome! Would it be possible to make a map smaller 150x150, yet larger than the BF large map? This would be useful for people like me with dinosaur computers and don't want lag xD

The 150x150 grid map is a super large map! It is called super large because it is the one that was requested which is smaller than CCs map but bigger than the large map! By the way I am also creating a 150x150 map with the beach on it. It will have a skirt that has a beach on it and the water will continue in the skirt. If your having a hard time understanding I'll show you later!

great work, :)
although I have a few questions....
does the map suffer the same problems that the cc map did?
and is the biome grassland?

The biome IS grassland! I successfully Made it appear in the main menu! However I'm also trying to make one of every biome but so far it has been un-successful. I will plan on making a map that same size but with the ocean on it. Meaning that the outside of the zoo where you can not place anything on like what the parking lot sits on, on the opposite side of the parking lot, (otherwise know as the skirt) will have a continuation of the water in the back of the zoo instead of going back to land on the skirt so this way the game looks like a real ocean that never stops. This zoo property can be used for aquariums that are built by the ocean or marine zoos that have shows. The biome used will be coastal. I want it to have a beach and a rocky shore area on it? What do you think? I need feedback so everybody likes it! Please comment. Should I do this with the reef biome too? Please comment! I need feedback trust me I need feedback!

That open ocean zoo sounds really interesting :) it would be nice to have a background that's more than buildings, mountains and trees around the zoo, since island or seashore zoos don't look very believable if the borders become land outside the wall. I also personally always liked the ocean zoo in ZT1 :P
I think it would be nice to give it some rocky shore and/or reefy area, and maybe even some small islands if there is enough space. After all it can be easily edited afterwards.
