History is indeed little more than the register of the crimes, follies, and misfortunes of mankind.

Thank you for the release Gecko!

Thanks for the wolf! Red wolves are my favorite mammal, and would fit right in with my NC natives zoo.

I know I'm late, but I'm glad to finally see a baboon, they are not very popular in the community. But I noticed that he can not eat meat

First of all, I want to say that everything looks great! I’m not very active in the community but always look forward to new herps and I spend a lot of time field herping in southern Florida so these are very welcome additions.

That being said, I think you might have referenced a very dark colored western diamomdback instead of an eastern. Eastern diamondbacks totally lack the black and white “coon tail” that westerns have, and the pattern is a bit different.

Also not sure if you’re taking suggestions, but we desperately need an eastern indigo snake. They’re endangered, the largest native snake in the United States, depend on gopher tortoises for their burrows, and their main diet is snakes (especially big ol’ Eastern diamondbacks)

I second that! Considering it's dependance on the gopher tortoise, the indigo snake would be great for a mixed exhibit with one.

The Blazing Gecko

Sorry for the lack of responses, I've been busy with things in real life. I might be working at a Chimp Sanctuary soon and if not returning to New York to work at the Bronx Zoo again. I am working on something right now that I showed before, so keep an eye out!
