I would actually use a brown bear: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2e4ApN6634o
Ideally would be to find a mix of the Bear texture & that of the Musk Ox

Why not add alphas on the stomach ? It should make it look more bulky and furry.

I would maybe try a combination of brown bear, musk ox, and bison.

I would try to have shorter fur around the face and trunk, add longer hair to the rest of the body. Brown, black-brown, and even blonde have been fairly proven varients.

As I mentioned before, I am unable to edit models like that. So adding alphas for now is going to be a no-no. Tonight I will be adding in some Brown Bear elements as people have suggested and see how that goes. If not today, then tomorrow it will be released!

The mammoths look as they were wearing masks. Is it only my suggestion (or sth) or they look strange for someone else?

I could try my hand at it... I've done some reskinning before, for my own personal tastes, but I can't code or model to save my life

I'm not sure what you mean by that.

Oh I meant touching up the skin.

I like to skin, sometimes, but I don't do it much because I don't even know how to make it a brand new separate animal (like the bluebuck I want to make out of ZTABC's roan antelope :\ )

I think he means the trunk skin looks too different from the body skin.
