http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01npk91 Caught the first episodes of it on BBC and god is this awesome The newest entry of the "Wild" series, after australia, china, russia, the caribbean among others, its now our time to hit the spotlight. Featuring some of our most fantastic sights such as the Iguaçu falls, the chapada diamantina, the pantanal, the cerrado and of course the amazon rainforest, wild Brazil shows all the beauty of world's most biodiverse country in all its splendor.

I love the series, but nothing has come to match Russia and China. Maybe not enough time for the other countries? |

Mostly was actually the fact that those two were partially also filmed by the teams who filmed planet earth Still, yeah those two are among my favorites, altough their newest entry on Brazil might be just on par with these two and right up my list of favorite nature documentaries, but of course i might have some personal bias on that one so, see it for yourself. Anyway, have you watched it as of yet? |

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=m6GifYN_wZc Heres the american trailer, for some reason they changed the name on the american dub to "Brazil gone wild", but its still the same show. @Gabriel: Ikr, i wonder why they missed us for such a long time when we happen to have the largest number of species of both animals and plants on the world, aswell as many fantastic landscapes Edited by Yi Qi, Aug 11 2014, 07:34 AM.

Yeah ik it was released a while ago in the Uk as i read on the page, but since nobody posted anything about it i figured i should be the first ![]() Anyway yes, its primarily told from the point of view of those three species, but doesnt only focus on them, it manages to cover a whole lot of the Brazilian biome diversity, the shots on Pantanal, particularly, are magnificent. changing the accent is not a good enough excuse to dub a show ![]() does Discovery really think people are to dense to understand an English accent? |

Sadly, it looks like they stayed in the Pantanal and Amazon cliches and simply forgot Caatinga, Atlantic Forest and Cerrado. |

I wonder myself the same thing, aswell as why the heck did they have to change the title for the american release? @Zoohuahua: Look again, that trailer shows both the canyons of piauí, on the northeastern caatinga and the famous nut cracking monkeys who live there, infact the monkeys are one of the main POV animals of the show, and the cerrado is shown aswell on various ocasions, with both the seasonal drought and seasonal burns and other interesting events showing up, aswell as much of its unique fauna, such as the giant anteater, the carcará/caracara and the red legged seriema.Tough indeed i haven't seen much of the atlantic forest, but again i only watched the first episodes as of yet.
