I absolutely love the seasonal fur changes. Question though: Is there anyway to code the fur so it could be used as enrichment for other animals? Or at least so it could be recognized by other animals? I think it would a cool concept and would be similar to what zoos do with their animals coats when they shed.
Never done something like that before but it should be possible I think, though it would require to recode each animal you want to be able to interact with the fur. In any case what kind of animals are you thinking about, and what should they do with the fur? Nesting material or something?
Nesting material is a good idea, hadn't thought of that. To be completely honest, it has been years since I have actually spent time watching the animals in the game and looking at all the behaviors they have in their repertoire. If birds in the game do indeed "gather nesting material" that would be a possibility. I don't think any of the animals in the game have a "rolling" or "pawing" behavior but if they do that would also be a possibility. In my head most of the animals that do these behaviors would be carnivores, such as small cats or maybe even the foxes themselves (possibly roll in the stoat fur?). One idea (and I know this behavior is in game) would be "stalking" and pouncing on the fur"? Sorry I'm not a complete help haha. The idea kind of just popped in my head but in the end the behaviors for our animals currently might not be complex enough to fully make use of fur.

If i can be honest, the skin looks like it has a lot of seams. Is it a WIP?

Fins look a bit weird, and I can see the seams, but it's looking good so far for a WIP.

Okay, firstly what kind of shark is it? I don't recognize the species.

Secondly, is the Greenland animal a Walrus or a Polar Bear?

It's an Oceanic whitetip shark.
Also no to your two guesses, though you are on the right path with one of them.

I really don't want to be mean and all, I mean, everyone has to find out what the best ways of skinning are, but I just get the feeling that these are made super fast without the proper research of references.
the render doesn't look like the images you used were high quality
my first suggestion would be better research, find better pictures, because at some point there are just images that can't be used
(to get better quality, check websites like texture.com or google the species in different languages and sizes of images)
higher quality images will also help fixing seams, since the texture somethimes makes it less noticable ;)
I hope you can use this :D

looks already a lot better Whalebite! things I would edit would be some more texture, especially at the snout, since the wiskers look pretty 'sharp'
but it's already improving! try out LC's tutorial on texture as that could get you pretty far!

As always let me know if there are any issues. If they are not changing skin immediately, try picking them up and placing them again.
