I don't know about everyone else, but I'm eagerly awaiting some foliage (I think you said there would be some included right?) because personally I think the community needs more tropical island themed foliage.

It's all about the birds and reptiles.Insert bird and reptile version of "all about the base" here Many islands have very colorful reptiles and birds. Day geckos, certain pythons and vipers, and don't get me started on the birds.

And technically, Tasmania is an island with many mammals species too.

There are awesome mammals in the islands, specially in the Southeast asian islands. Grumble grumble fur-lover grumble grumble I do agree though... There is the tree shrews. One of my favorite mammals besides lemurs, flying foxes, and cats. Actually.....Madagascar is a island(excuse for lemurs) and I'd love to see a flying fox with new bat animations(maybe a modified pterosaur animation.) Some bats like in New Zealand do forage on the ground so they don't have to be constantly flying. Also many Asian islands have tree shrews.

They all beauty island mammals. But what I really want to see some flightless rails and coots and a good Aye-aye remake. The project looks awesome I always on to see an island excursion remake can t wait to see more.
