Almost six years ago, Mysterious Map Marvels invited Zoo Tycoon players of all ages back to Isla Sorna and the Jurassic Park franchise with the first half of the Jurassic Park Pack, containing seven of the franchise's most memorable dinosaurs re-created with accuracy and details that were absolutely unprecedented. No previous attempt at capturing the spirit of the franchise, or it's dinosaurs, had ever come out successful, but the Jurassic Park Pack delivered what fans had been waiting for, with incredibly detailed new dinosaurs like Gallimimus, Parasaurlophus, Ceratosaurus and of course, Spinosaurus, not to mention... yes, we have a T. Rex.

Now as fans eagerly await the release of Jurassic World, one of the longest-awaited film sequels of all-time, Marvels Evolved is happy to welcome players of all ages back to Isla Sorna again by re-releasing the Jutassic Park Pack and all of it's genetically-engineered premium features, as well as it's patch, just as it was when it was originally released on December 25th, 2008 - for players who want to re-live the original release, for those who've been looking for it but can't seem to find it, and for a whole new generation of players to experience for the first time.

Includes the Tyrannosaurus, Spinosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Parasaurlophus, Gallimimus, and Stegosaurus from the Jurassic Park film series, recreated to the original films as accurately as possible - in addition to seven exciting new dinosaurs, a new foliage item, and a new path are included, PLUS the ability for dinosaur death duels! Yes, now in Zoo Tycoon 2, you can watch a Tyrannosaur face off with a Spinosaur!

Spinosaurus (original reveal image)
Tyrannosaurus Rex (male)
Ceratosaurus
Gallimimus
Stegosaurus
Parasaurlophus
Brachiosaurus

Male and Female Tyrannosaurus (Jeep not included)
Death Duels!

It's been re-released at ZTDC after years of only being available through back-channel leaks, with the original patch -- and in addition, it is now public domain.

(Please note MMM has no plans at this time to update or continue this pack as our focus is on Cretaceous Calamity.)

originally, one_piece

pardon me but if there is no plan to continue this pack, why must there be a project topic for it?

nonetheless, it's great to see this pack have not been forgotten.

And here i thought that MMM was remaking the jurassic park pack. I cannot express how i just went from utter excitement to sheer disappointment in the span of ten seconds.

Valid point. I thought it might be good for discussion purposes. I suppose if the staff choose to close it their within their rights.

The door isn't closed on an eventual continuation but for now our focus is on the long-awaited CC and dividing our men just doesn't seem logical - in addition, there's been a variety of other JP projects done since (at least three Raptors, two or three Spinos and three or four Rexes) so work is being done on the franchise, and I only imagine this'll continue in the wake of Jurassic World next year.

If anyone makes anything using the work contained, we'd love to see it here, btw :)

The nostalgia. Oooohhhh, the nostalgia.
Anyway, do I have to get an account to DL it or something? I can't find it anywhere.

Would you look at me? I'm setting records.

I'd like to thank Incinerox and JohnVM for allowing me to release this on the uploading downloads topic and being a part of this to help them push for a re-release! I'm glad this great pack is not going to waste! Everyone give John a huge thanks for finding the JPP patch since even I wasn't able to find it (and I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I am very good in finding lost or dead downloads through many methods).

The DL was made years ago........this would be considered as a fossil DL since it was made when user-made dinosaurs were starting to roam the Zt2 world :3

Oh it's disappointing that John and I were working our butts off to push this for release, finding all of the files for it, finally releasing it on here and saving this pack from utter death? Wow.

I meant no disrespect, Its just the way it was posted it seemed like you guys were saying it was a new project being started by MMM to remake this pack.

Well, I can see the misunderstanding. But it would have probably said "Jurassic Park Pack Remake" if that was the case. Plus why would they be planning on making a remake for it if they still haven't finished Cretaceous Calamity?

I've brought this up about formidable seas as well since MMM(Or at least members of it) tried to repair the glitched content so it can be released. They said they will continue working on CC but FS will not be forgotten on the to-do list.

I even suggested at the design forum for them to do a two animal bonus content thing featuring freshwater mosasaurs and plesiosaurs...I have not gotten anything back from them about that part.

At this point, we have nothing to announce related to the Formidable Seas expansion. Let's just say the files aren't lost and solutions are being discussed but nothing has been decided, in private or in public.

I've re-titled the topic to avoid confusion :)

Also, small concern: Does the patch fix the Para cloning bug?
