Beware of Crapstel's Curse!

I think it'd be best if you took it to the vet.

It could be something more or less harmless like stress or a too high temperature, but it could also be sick and you can't tell that from a forum post.

So if it happens again or it won't eat I'd say take it to a vet who knows how to treat reptiles.

toads are poisonous yes? could it have not liked the taste?

most certainly you should be worried, but probably best to try another food and see if it will eat before taking it to a vet

Hognose are toad eaters IIRC, so they should be immune to their venom (I think).

presumably varying by the species of toad

regardless of immunity is it still possible the toad managed to get poison somewhere distasteful inside the throat?

He eats Toads all the time in fact that`s the only thing he WILL eat.

EDIT: I think I might know whats going on actually. I fed him a tiny toad later in the day
so that might be why.

that makes sense, he may have attacked out of habit, then decide he wasn't hungry

You mean you fed him and he ate it and then a few hours later you fed him again and he ate it as well, only this time he regurgitated it some time later? If that's the case I really don't think he simply decided that he wasn't hungry after all, he wouldn't have swallowed it if that was the case.

So I still think it's something else, because one bigger toad and a "tiny" one a you said a few hours later really shouldn't be a problem.

BTW, some more infos about the snake and it's enclosure (especially the temperature) would be very helpful as well.

Snakes, and animals in general, tend to regurgitate their food when they are under stress, which could be caused either by illness or trauma.

Okay, how long do you have him and are there enough hiding places in the terra? (Maybe you could show us some pics of it :) ) Because if you just got him then he should be left alone for about a week so he can adjust to the new environement, and if there aren't enough hiding places it can cause a lot of stress and as it was said, stress could be a reason for it.

It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.
