That's what "Coded as a separate animal" means, yes. |

It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.

it could also for instance overwrite the origional croc instead of having two (I don't know if this is possible) |

Yes...it is, but Hendrix said that he didn't want to do that for people used to RR's Nile Crocodile, hence him saying he's coding it as a new animal

Well, that's the easiest thing to do indeed. But they decided to give people the opportunity to choose between both versions. On another note, exquisite work on those crocodiles guys. The realism you put in this project is outstanding, very well done! |

Indeed, this expansion is of exceptional quality, I have tested them all now and they work perfectly. I can't wait for the Gharial! |

It is actually not, as the croc appears in campaigns and many saved games, and replacing it with a croc built with a totally different system behind is very likely to create problems. Also think about all the hacks there are; it doesn't make much of a difference when you have just a model / skin remake. But when there's something messing with this one, where the whole coding is not at all like the old one, it causes problems. It's simply so common that people get interferences even with normal remakes, because they don't know how it works or what they have. So to prevent people whining about such problems, it shall be released as a separate animal. We might also create a remake option later on, but not for the moment. One thing I've noticed about the crocodile feeder is that they can be placed at the edge of shallow water, like this,![]() It may look odd when the crocdiles feed from it (they sink into the ground), but it's ideal to use in S&T's as a form of dinosaur lure.

I have that issue aswell, perhaps it was intentional or a glitch that couldn't be fixed. However I don't mind having to refill the rod feeder manually. |

Gentlemen I have a idea concerning the salt water croc. The late owner of the title "Largets croc in captivity". I present to you the famous lolong. |

He was an exception, not a rule. To include massive sizes like that would be unrealistic but should you really want to, it's easy to edit size. |

I wonder if it would be possible to create size variants for animals? Anyway, I agree with Kayla, it was one of a kind!
