Your Nautical Voyage project is really amazing! It has really interesting and detailed looking animals (My favs at the moment are the Arapaima and the pelican, but the eel's colour scheme is also cool!)  Great work of all of you!

@Alex: As far as I know, the blue one is the male adult, the yellow the female adult and the black ones are the juvenile of both genders.... If I'm wrong, I'm sorry. But I have to agree with the others, it looks wonderful! @MiBound: It looks wonderful the juvenile pelican

http://www.padi.com/blog/2013/12/16/interesting-facts-about-ribbon-eels/ So, not only are the two sexes and juveniles different colors, they are sequential hermaphrodites- specifically protandry. |
