Thank you for the set, Azrael!

Currently we have 37 pet birds, mostly smaller sorts, (including sixteen 3 - 8 day old society finch chicks in nests) comprising eight species ranging in size from 2 1/3 inch long African silverbill finches to a tame cockatiel with a penchant for showering. Their home is a renovated spare room-turned-woodland, because cages are anything but 'for the birds'.

Gracie, our 'tiel, is completely tame and has free run of the house when someone is around to supervise. When we are not, he is kept in the bird room (though he's a bit destructive to the scenery when he gets bored). He gets caged and covered down at night, and is our only bird who does, simply because if cockatiels do not get long enough nights they can become aggressive and hormonal.

Current Stock

9 Society (Bengalese) Finch; Apollo, Lizzie, Lyra, Aurora, Errol, Flurry, Albert, Sylvan, Cirrus
16 Society (Bengalese) Chicks
3 African (and one hybrid) Silverbill; Rusty, Dusty, Wendy May
4 Budgie; Arthur, Alex, Sydney, Sunny
2 Java Rice Finch; Max, Luna
2 Canary; Steve, Kari
2 Zebra Finch; Zach, Cody
2 Spice Finch; Sault, Peppa
1 Cockatiel; Gracie

Questions are welcome.

Anyone else with pet birds is encouraged to show them here too. :)

There is always something going on...

Wow, I love the way you house them! A whole room, just for them!
