I just didn't know if it would work. I was thinking about territorial disputes and things but I have seen videos of Tamarins together so I just asked... |

Hey guys =) I want to create a Philippine exhibit but I am unsure about the Visayan deer and pig coexistence. I know that some zoos holding them together (like Colchester) but I want to try a compromise: if I isolate a part of the exhibit with some rocks, so as to make inaccessible for the pigs? Thanks in advance! |

The rock hooper and king would work, but the African Jack ass penguins wouldn't work well. It just doesn't make sense geographically. You could do Adele penguins though. |

@Rexpony- Batty would know As for the penguin combination, just because the geography isn't spot on doesn't mean it shouldn't/can't be done. The Calgary zoo has all three penguins combined in a complex that has a frigid indoor enclosure and a seasonal outdoor enclosure. The species rotate out so there's one species out and two in at all times |

I wonder if a Geoffroy's Marmoset and a Black-and-Rufous Elephant Shrew would go together well... |

Yes, definitely. Not exactly geographic at all, but I've seen very similar combinations. |

I've seen them combined with various other species, so probably yes, though I'd imagine they'd put a quick stop to any breeding attempts by other birds. |

@ZTFR, I don't see why not! @Pokeruto, that shouldn't be a problem. Duisburg zoo has a pair of ground hornbills in their giraffe stable, and generuks shouldn't have too many problems with either species. |
