I'm building an aviary featuring South and Central American species. So far I have military and scarlett macaw, toucan, and white headed capuchins. Does anybody have any recommendations I could possibly add to this mix? Thanks in advance. |

Scarlet Ibis and waterfowls could go in there. If the climate allows it, iguanas and turtles/tortoises too. Perhaps some small ground mammals too but I am not sure. |

Tbh , I wouldn't combine white-headed capuchins with macaws / and or toucans (at least not with juveniles or with young animals) , they are omnivorous animals known to eat eggs . Some studies (in Costa Rica) have shown that they even complete their diet with white-crowned parrots (and baby coatis) so imagine what they could do to a young/juvenile macaw / toucan . So except if your macaws / toucans aren't breeding , I wouldn't risk that. Now , as Furka said , you can combine Macaws with Ibis and waterfowls , San Diego Zoo and Safari Park keeps them with Hyacinth Macaw and Green-winged Macaw. I've seen them combined with Capybaras and Giant Anteaters . |

I had considered putting capybaras or even maybe tapirs in this exhibit too. As for the capuchins' replacement would a sloth or maybe even a squirrel monkey be a better fit? |

Does anyone know what could I combine with european wild boars ? So far I know only Wisent (note, should be a species that can breed, so I'm ruling out ground nesting birds like pheasants and cranes). |

Maybe small birds or an owl if you have an aviary or indoor exhibit. Also deer(?) |

Could Sitatungas and Flamings be combined? Also could Yellow-Backed Duikers and Okapis be combined? |

A weird random guy.

Sitatungas and Flamingos can work, also Yellow-Backed Duikers and Okapis can work, too. There are some zoos that uses that combination, so on both of your combinations, they'll work out fine

Is there anything you can combine with Mandrills? Any birds or other primates? |
