If I'm not wrong, Cologne keeps tree kanagroos together with palm cockatoos. And I guess any other birds like crowned pigeons are possible, too.

I have read in a Australian husbandry manual about Tree-kangaroos that it is not recommend to mix them, especially with anything that could perche in their territory. They are known to have kill birds and mammals housed with the. Or just wild animals venturing into their exhibit. Some mix have worked, but they did not recommend it. |

I've seen two zoos where they are combined with echidnas so I think that's your best option. Other than that I think small ground kangaroos could work, basically anything that has it's own defenses and lives on the ground. |

I am building a Giant Panda exhibit but want to keep other species which live in the same region as the Giant Panda. I already had Red Pandas, Snow Leopards (they live in the same region right?), Pangolins and Goldan Takins. Do you maybe have more species I can add? |

You can also have Alpine Musk Deer, Chinese Hwamei, Tibetan Macaque, Asian Black Bear, Chinese Goral, Dholes, Clouded Leopard, Asian Golden Cat, Wild Boar, Eurasian Lynx, Sambar Deer, White-lipped Deer, Hog Badger, Mangshan Pit Viper, Indian Crested Porcupine, and Mainland Serow. Other species not from the exact same place but also found in Southwestern China include muntjacs (can be combined with Red Panda), Indian Ringneck Parrots, Lord Derby's Parakeet, Guar, and crested gibbons. Thank you all. I've made the selection range a bit larger and decided to pick animals from China and not only to the regions where the Giant Panda exists. This is the current list I've made with your help: - Giant Panda - Red Panda - Golden Takin - Snow Leopard - Sun bear - Kiang - Pangolin - Oriental Small-clawed Otter - Chinese Softshell Turtle - Chinese Crocodile Lizard - Golden Pheasant - Diamond Pheasant - Temminck's Tragopan I might add the Chinese Muntjac, but I want to make a walkthrough exhibit for the Red Pandas, so I don't know think it will happen. Also no bears and cats, because I already have the Snow Leopard and don't want to add to many predators. Eurasian Lynx are in the zoo though, but in the Mongolian Steppes section. And maybe I will add some of the birds to my aviary. |

There is a high risk of inbreeding between Golden and Lady Amherst's pheasants. Tragopan are no trouble with both. |
