Thank you Jony. I think I will go for a aviary with only the Flamingos then (and maybe add the pair of Green Ibis). Most of the species you mention are already in the zoo in different exhibits.

PrimevalBrony the combination of Malayan tapirs and anoas could work, however keep in mind that anoas can be very aggressive and they carry horns that can cause serious injuries if used against the tapirs. So I would recommend giving them a large enclosure with plenty of feeding and hiding opportunities, to avoid food aggression and to give some intimacy to this rainforest creatures.

I wouldn't keep the quetzals and trogons together with any other species due to their rarity. They are very hard to keep in captivity. That's also why I wouldn't keep them in a walkthrough aviary.
Well, not really true; I've seen trogons in a walkthrough hall in Wuppertal, the full animal list (of what was signed) was the following;

Scarlet tanager
Paradise tanager
Turquoise tanager
Bay-headed tanager
Silver-throated tanager
Purple honeycreeper
Vermilion flycatcher
Great flycatcher
Ultramarine grosbeak
Blue manakin
Andean cock-of-the-rock
Spangled cotinga
Purple-throated fruitcrow
(Pompadour cotinga?)
White-tailed trogon
Pacific hornero
Crested quail-dove
Sunbittern

Needless to say, I believe I spent half of my visit just looking around and photographing the species in this hall; one of my all-time favorite tropical halls species-wise for sure!

What I would be careful for, however, is keeping the trogons outside and with bigger species; therefor I indeed wouldn't go for combining them with flamingos.

@Anton: Thanks. I wasn't aware of Wuppertal. Didn't know that they have trogons living in the walkthrough hall. I think I missed them when I was there three or four years ago. What a shame...:(

@Dylan, I only saw a male, but I have to say it was, actually! Not incredibly vibrant, but there was still quite a bit of red in there ;)

@Jony, they keep a male trogon in the walkthrough hall, and a female in a separate exhibit (with another fruitcrow) in the bird house.
Do you remember if you saw pompadour cotingas on your visit? And if so, do you remember in what exhibit they were? :P

Sorry, I have no clue :P
I don't even have pictures or any memories of the bird house as I just found out. :P

They do not keep pomapdour cotingas anymore by the way. The last one probably died 2015.

Does anybody know if any zoos combine Visayan Spotted Deer with other species? I want to combine them with Visayan Warty Pigs, but ain't sure if they can be kept with other species. I know the pigs are far from shy but don't know about the deers, because here in Rotterdam they are kept a little away from the visitors (while sometimes you can see people touch the pigs, which they don't mind).

The Visayan Spotted Deer and Visayan Warty Pig have been mixed in some zoos, but the deers and/or pigs usually have a monospecific section in the exhibit. Other deers could also be mix with the Visayan Spotted Deer, but you have to be careful for hybridization.

The best would be to mix them with waterfowls, peafowls or pheasants, maybe cranes and storks too.

In that case I think I will combine them with Sarus Cranes or Demoiselle Cranes.

Yeah that won't be possible because I don't want to place them with species which they can't be seen in the Philippines. I've decided to keep them with Mallards (can be found in Germany and Philippines so I can let them roam free without risking losing valuable animals). But a part of the river in front of the exhibit will become a walk-through aviary with Demoiselle Cranes, Philippine Ducks, Black-faced Ibises and Black-faced Spoonbills. Is that combination possible?

In an Amazonian tank could I include these together: Red Tail Catfish, Severum, Oscar, Oscellated River Stingray, Tetras, Plecos, Arowana, Arapaima, Black Pacu, Mata-Mata and maybe a Piraìba?

Also can anything be combined with:
1. Red Bellied Piranhas
2. Electric Eel

Apart from the tetras, the first combination looks fine! Great, even! Tetras could be added, but wouldn't survive very long ;)

Piranhas... Honestly, I think they could probably even go with all fish in the first combination. I've seen them with plecos and with freshwater rays personally.
