Guenon species would work tbh. :)

Do you think African Chameleons can be mixed with other species? I was thinking of a fairly large terrarium, wide but also tall, combining lots of climbing oppportunities and also ground foliage/logs/rocks. My number one mix would be West Usambara Two-horned Chameleon with Fire Skink. Do you think it could work?

The only time I've seen chameleons combined was in the Dry forest exhibit at Genoa, where they had a panther (?) chameleon with spider tortoises, day geckoes, spiny-tailed iguanas, zonosaurus and helmeted turtle (the latter separated). They have removed the chameleon from that combination, but I think something similar might still work, preferably if you use animals that would stay away from trees/shrubs/branches so there's no territorial issue with chameleons.
And ofc use something too large to be eaten.

Oaklawn Farm Zoo used to have a veiled chameleon with some small tortoises.

Would there be a problem with a combination of a pair of central American agoutis, a three-toed sloth and a group of emperor tamarins?

I don't see why not despite the fact that no three-toed sloth has been successfully kept for a longer time in captivity.
But the combination works with two-toed sloths, so I think it should be fine with three-toed sloths, too.

Not technically true, Dallas World Aquarium has a resident male Three-toed Sloth, it has been a couple years now. However, all the other died. :/

Oh really? He's probably the only resident captive three-toed sloth in the world.

Probably, except maybe in local zoos and rehabilitation centers where the species is supposed to occur.

Did not know that about three-toed sloths. I'll sub a two-toed for realism's sake, then. Thanks!

I've seen them (plus DWA's individual) in Macouria, French Guiana for exemple ;)

Besides Marmosets, could any other species of New World Monkey be safely exhibited with Tamarins?

Callitrichids can probably be mixed with basically all new world primates except for larger ones like capuchins and woolly monkeys (and even then I'm sure those might be combined in some places).

I've seen them with titis (apenheul, berlin..), sakis (apenheul, artis, plzen, cologne...), night monkeys (artis, plzen...), spider monkeys (Gaiazoo), howler monkeys (apenheul, cologne...), and other callitrichids (too many to list) personally.

Any ideas for combinations with the Giant Anteater? I know that Tapirs, Sloths, Capybaras, Maned Wolves and Maras are working, but I'm looking for more options before choosing. I'm not looking for some monkeys or other climbing species.
