It should. Those species are pretty gentle, don't compete and are used in mixed exhibits pretty often.

Mouse-deer can be used in mixed exhibit, especially aviaries. However, you should give them plenty of space to retreat or put some distance between them and the visitors (put them on a island for example or add elevated paths, etc.).

I dare say no, it could not work, unless you got a giant exhibit. Kookaburras and Platypus have very different needs, Platypus being known as a difficult animal to keep in captivity, fussy eater and having special needs in terms of food, habitat and activity periods. Kookaburras on the other hand are bold, kinda rambunctious birds, not closely associated with water. I would definitely house them separately.

Well I've tried but I need another animal to go with a platypus... A bird will be ideal but maybe an echidna... It is a big space and there is 60% water and rest land in exhibit and I need a land dweller..any ideas?

Like Uolym said, platypus are very difficult to keep in captivity so combining them with something isn't such a good idea. If you are worried that the land area will look empty, just hide behind rocks or boulders.

Platypus irl are only ever kept seperately, if I recall correctly. Also, the way I hear it your exhibit for them is unnecessarily large. I would shrink down the exhibit size and just keep them seperately, certainly if you want to emphasize the Platypus' uniqueness you wouldn't want too many distractions.
