I'm agree with Fireplump, but I've seen wild ass exhibits in where they were keept with addax antelopes and ostriches, so I don't really think it would make a big difference when you put mountain nyalas in there, but anyway it would be better to make a exhibit for themselves. |

Any combinations for the Snow leopard or Amur leopard? Of course not in the same exhibit, but located close to each other. |

The most leopard exhibits aren't open at the top. So I've seen that pigeons were keep together with leopards, it's a enrichment for both, the leopards can try to kill a pigeon and the pigeons need to be smarter than the leopard. Anyway if you are building a complex, I can imagine a himalayan themed exhibit (takins, red pandas, markhors, thars, tigers, ect.), for amur leopards the siberian taiga (moose, brown bear, siberian tiger, boar, ect.). |

Bongo and Congo Buffalo or Black/Zebra Duiker @arafan : the Himalayan complex is a really good idea Edited by Zoo Tycooner FR, Mar 25 2015, 06:18 PM.

It is extremely dangerous to put any slightly aggressive animal together with bongo, so the second choice (duikers) would work. |

I'd say possibly for the second one. They would need to be monitored 24/7. This is due to the fact that they may try to interbreed. |

KoenZoo, just look up animals from their respective habitats, and use that as inspiration. There are no limits when there's a fence between the animals. Arafan, my guess is the pigeons you saw in Leopard exhibits before were wild ones who flew in to get their hands on some of the food. Not a single zoo would even remotely consider putting animals of different species that want to kill each other in the same exhibit, not even if they're only pigeons. Burns, how would Duiker and Bongo interbreed exactly? I think the "/" Zootycooner FR mentioned between the 2 Duiker species was an "or" instead of an "and." Putting multiple species of Duiker in the same exhibit is just a bad idea. |

I thought that he said duiker and duiker as a second combo. My bad. |

I know the Gelada is one of most aggressive monkey in the world but i think the combination of gelada and Walia ibex enclosure is possible the only problem is that the walia ibex are hardly present in zoos ![]()

Yes, the combo is possible. The Bronx Zoo has gelendas and Nubian Ibex. |

In Suisse, there is also this combination. Also Barbary sheep combined with them is more common, but more because of the more available sheeps

No, they're not wild, they were pure, wild rock doves. Saddly I don't find nothing about them in the internet, but I've seen them in the Tierpark Dählhölzli in Berne. @ Zoo Tycooner FR Yes, at my local zoo they they have about 40 geladas together with two male nubian ibexes, a big family (about 10) rock hyraxes and a pair of blue-winged goose. So I don't think that walia ibexes (if you can get them, as I know no zoo in the world has some) should be a problem. |

That post literally makes no sense ^. All you did is confirm what I said. If a zoo wanted to bother exhibiting Rock Doves, they would do so in a separate aviary. The ones you saw, as I already mentioned, were most likely wild ones that flew in the exhibit. |

1) Sure, why not. 2) Sure, animals wouldn't really notice each other's presence. It'd have to be in an aviary, though. 3) Sure, though I wouldn't do it. All Koalas I've seen have been (semi-)indoors, wouldn't know how to combine that with a lake big enough for swans. 4) Sure, why not. 5) Not sure. 6) I think this could work if the exhibit is large enough. 7) Nope, never. 8) Sure, why not. 9) If the fences for them work so the Duiker can't escape, sure. Perhaps add an area where the Duiker can be alone. |
