@Admiral, I think that could work, if you keep Tortoises of one gender only. Newborn tortoises could be seen as food by the vultures. @Crooky, the first combination could probably work, but I don't see why you'd do it. All 3 animals inhabit different habitats and would probably rarely ever meet each other. The second combination is similar in how no Tapir would ever meet any Red Panda, and as Dutchman said the Gibbons and Pandas would probably be aggressive towards each other. |

I want to combine Hippopotamus with the African wild dog. I was thinking of making a big pool for the hippos with enough land space for them, but behind it an steep hill (not too steep, but steep enough to make sure the hippos don't get up) with enough space for the African wild dog and a small pool for them to drink. What do you guys think? |

I doubt it'd really work well at all. Hippos are known to be very dangerous, and you wouldn't want a Wild Dog to get trampled by one. Furthermore I just don't really see why you'd do it. Certainly an interesting combination, but I don't see the need for it. I think a Hagenbeck-styled enclosure would suit both species much better. |

I agree with vision, the combination between hippos and wild dogs wouldn't work, because there is the danger they could hurt each other and get stressed by that. I think hippos are better off together with only herbivores. |

1)Yes for all of the species except the Glaucous Macaw he's very rare maybe extinct he's not support the captivity 2)Yes 3)I think Yes.Warning to the Golden Conure and the Blue and Golde Macaw because they very bigs, the Australian King Parrot and and the Budgie are small 4)For the Gold Fish, the Peaceful Betta and the Snowball Pleco there isn't pronlem,But for the Zebra Pleco, no he's extremely expensive, due to the fact it is rarely available Edited by Zoo Tycooner FR, May 1 2015, 01:53 PM.

Blue and Gold Macaw is too big to be housed with budgies. I don't know about the others. |

1) No. Macaws and Squirrel Monkeys is not a good idea. 2) Yes. 3) No. Too big a size difference, geographically all out of whack. 4) No. Goldfish are a lot larger than Betta, both are extremely aggressive. Plecos could work with either the Goldfish of the Betta, but never have those 2 together. Temperatures and water specifications of Goldfish and Betta are different, too. I've actually seen an exhibit with macaws and squirrel monkeys, along with flamingoes. i gues it could work if you give them enough space and separate indoor/offshow areas. |

1 and 2 are difficult to say. I'd say no, but technically all species would kinda work with each other, too. 3 is definitely possible, though. |

Do you mean combinations 1 and 2 would probably not work but is still possible? |

I'm not quite sure about them. The first I'd say no to, muntjac and otters with elephants wouldn't work I don't think. The second... I've seen Gibbon with Orangutan, I've seen pictures of Orangutan with Tapirs, and undoubtedly Tapirs and Gibbon wouldn't have any problems with each other, but all 3 together seems like a weird combo. |
