Would Malayan Tapir + Siamang + Sun Bear (With a moat seperating the Tapirs/Siamangs from the Bears) work? Thank you in advance |

Pretty sure Tapirs have been kept with Gibbons in zoos before, so I don't see why not with the Tapir/Siamang combo as long as your Siamang group is large enough for them to have no reason to pick on the Tapirs. As long as the bears absolutely cannot reach the other animals, it should be fine. |

Sun bears are very herbivorous though (and I think that previously in this topic there were combos shown with some monkeys) so I think you could combine the three in the same enclosure. |

I think you don't will need the moat, you can keep all these species in the same exhibit. |

Honestly what I would do is put a land moat in so the Tapir and the Sun Bear can't reach each other but make a rope swing across for the siamangs. |

Yeah that is a good idea and the moat could be filled with foliage so the visitors don't have a stretch of dirt to look at |

So I went to the zoo today and saw an interesting combo. It was a fairly large (though not huge) aviary, which was inhabited by around 10 bald ibises, 5-6 marabou storks, a pair of black-crowned cranes, a pair of hamerkop, 3 Rüppel's vultures and 2 cinereous vultures. As far as I could see, there was no conflict but I was kind of in a hurry and could only spend a few minutes watching. What are your opinions about this combo? Will it work? |

This one isn't a "can this fit together?" question so much as a "what ELSE can fit together?" one. The San Antonio Zoo has a shallow water exhibit that has both gharial and African wattled crane. Are there any similarly sized cranes from India that could fit in the same niche for a more continent-homogenous exhibit in ZT2? |

Sarus cranes come to mind first, but I have no idea if there's one of those made for ZT2. |

I believe there is a Sarus Crane in the Crane Pack at Gaia, I believe but I'm not for certain. |

Just leave the sunfish out. I've seen large and small mouth bass together. |
