Anyone ever came across Giant Anteater and Patagonian Mara mixed together? Would it work? |

Yep, I've seen that combination. Artis has Giant anteater, Patagonian mara, Lowland tapir, Llama and Capybara in one exhibit. |

As long as the anteaters weren't annoyed with the Mara, I don't see what he issue would be. I guess it may work, but they'd need space for themselves to be alone, but I'd take the opinions as well as my own. |

Could Cotton-top Tamarins, Common Marmosets, and Common Squirrel Monkeys live together in a walkthrough exhibit? |

I'm not sure about the latter but the first two has been done here (not in walkthroughs tho). |

The Biodome of Montréal keeps Cotton-top in a huge walkthrough exhibit, alongside Golden lion Tamarin, Goeldi's Monkey, Sloths, Basilic and Iguana, tons of birds, Cane Toad, Yacare caïman, Tortoises and Turtles, but it is a large indoor rainforest exhibit. Look it up! I think your mix can be done if all species have their own territory in the exhibit, visual barriers, communal and also specific feeding stations. |

I currently have a pair of Siberian Tigers in my RTZI company. For them I want to make a "theme" section in the zoo, which concentrate on Siberia. Any ideas on which species I can keep in this section? Just to make sure, they won't live in the same exhibit ![]() Currently I was only thinking about Wild Boar, but they live everywhere, so they are not specifically Siberia located. |

There's also Manchurian crane. I'd download the COTW Russia pack by Tamara Henson and see if it has some animals fitting for your section. |

Thank you, I will look at both your suggestions. I already thought of Amur Leopards, but I wanted to make a small section in the zoo, and I think two predators (and the Amur Leopards are rare enough for being a main attraction) are too much. Quick question, Collared peccaries and Lowland Tapirs, could they be combined? |

Amur Leopards are common in captivity, (most common subspecies in Europe IIRC) so you don't really have to worry about them

I am not sure Peccaries and Tapirs are a really good mix honestly. I know both species can be mixed with other animals, especially true for the tapirs, but I never heard of a tapir/peccary combinaison. |

@Furka; Yeah but I mean, there are less then 100 of these animals living free in the wild today, so with that I mean they deserve more attention then being a "side attraction" next to tigers (which normally get more attention from visitors). @Uolym; Can you maybe think of any other combinations with Tapirs? I want to build a mixed exhibit with Maned Wolfs, but when the Tapirs give birth, I want to separate the Maned Wolfs from the Tapirs. But when the Tapirs don't have a calf, they are placed together. I have a spare exhibit in which I would like to house a non predator species (and are not a threat to the little Tapir), which can replace the Maned Wolfs. I already have Capybaras, but they have their own exhibit. Edited by KoenZoo, Feb 1 2016, 03:08 PM.

Pampas or Marsh Deer, any Brocket Deer, Vicuna, Guanaco, Llama, Alpaga, Giant Anteater, waterfowls, Mara, South American primates (preferably larger arboreal ones like howlers or capuchins), wading birds, giant tortoises.
