A much needed topic imo. Basically, ask anyone what biome a certain animal lives in. An obvious example would be if someone asked what biome an Arctic Fox would live in. Obviously, if someone replied, they would tell the other person that they mainly live in Arctic Tundra. Get the idea? It's kinda like the "Where can I find this download?" thread in a way, asking a question and getting a reply from someone who knows the answer. |

Well tuataras currently live on only some small islands off New Zealand, but historically covered most of the North Island as well. So I'd think you'd be looking at temperate rainforests. |

Thank you. And fridooh, I think that bay cat would live in tropical rainforest or dry forest. |

According to Wikipedia the closest present-day analog to Hateg Island would be the island of Hainan off the coast of southeast Asia, so we'd most likely be looking at tropical or semi-tropical forest.

The Red Kite for example, temperate forest, alpine, wetlands, grassland throughout its range the red kite can be found in various habitats, but what is the most common habitat for a kite? |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they seem to prefer open spaces, so I'd say grassland or something similar. Yuti: AFAIK it was a forested environment, perhaps temperate or cold. |
