A high vertex count is fine if it's used well to add more detail onto large animals, but this is needlessly high vert. It's just lots of vertices for the sake of lots of vertices. The majority of the vertices on the neck and body are adding nothing to the model and aren't even making it more detailed, they are just there and won't do anything but add a bit more lag to the game.

Heck, the neck and head still look a bit boxy and cube-like even with all those vertices.

Don't take this as a 'dig' at you, I do like the model, but you did ask for my honest opinion and so I gave it to you. In my mind it's always better to get the essence of an animal with a low number of vertices and then add detail to it, than to add a ton of detail from the start and lose sight of the animal you're making.

I agree with you Sarco. BTW Saurian your Psittacosaurus, Allosaurus Europeus, Allosaurus Tendagurensis, and Acheroraptor are exquisitely Beautiful. As a CGI dinosaur designer once told me, " Stick to one dinosaur model, then start with another".

Here are some examples of Harosaur/Iguanodont walk animations for designers to rig or re-rig their quadrupedal ornithopods.

You can never have too many ornithopods.

Beautiful mesh, though I don't really know how to design, I do agree with okeano about the verts thingy.

I do agree with Okeanos as well, but i have to say that it looks really nice. Both iguanodontids and hadrosaurs (or ornithopods in general ) are really needed.

Thanks for your comments !

I agree with your criticism of the model and I agree with you, the model is pretty old and I fix them as best I could. However, I plan to release it anyway and work on a new version ;)
