Hello, just need to do something else while I'm waiting for a solution for my Zoo Tycoon 2 problem xD

I keep 1,1 Chinese pond turtles (Mauremys reevesii). But they are siblings and don't like each other, so they are living in different terrariums. Both are about 7 years old and have reached the sexual maturity recently or will reach it soon.
This species is a small one. Females are reaching 15 - 18 cm, males are a bit smaller (~12 - 15 cm). there natural habitats are small rivers and ponds in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan. The IUCN says they are vulnerable.
Anyway, here are the pictures.

This is the male, named "Blacky" (because of his completely black plastron):

And "Toni", the female.

Do you want to see pictures of the terrariums as well?

The majority has decided xD

The following terrarium belongs to the male "Blacky". It has a length of 120 cm, a width of 60 cm and a height of 60 cm, too. The land area is designed as a platform, so the turtle can use the space under it as a cave. A few stones and roots can use as climbing opportunities and hiding areas. The lamp produces temperatures of 40 - 45 °C and allows the natural sunbathing behavior.
To simulate the seasons I had evolved a sytem of different water temperatures and sunshine hours, e.g. the water temperatures are now set at 18°C while they are 26°C in the summer months.

Next time I'll show you the other terrarrium.

Thanks Fridooh.
Yeah, I would say that this species is a very particular one because it' so trustful and in addition it's a turtle species which you could care easier than others ;)
Could I see pictures of yours as well?

I don't want to "steal" your thread by posting my own turtles haha :)
I'm kind of a photo-nerd and I have some shots from this summer when they ran around outside. You can see photos on my Deviantart here! :D

Thank you, Gabriel ;)
@Fridooh: The names of your turtles are much more creative xD

The female's terrarium. It's smaller than Blacky's terrarium: 80*35*40 cm. Maybe it's a bit small but those big terrariums like Blacky's are very expensive. But I have done the best and I think the smaller space is compensate with a higher water level. Like in the other terrarium there is a hot spot with 40 - 45 °C . A difference of the land area is that there is a small box with sand, so Toni can dig holes as typical for females.
The sytem of water temperartures and sun hours is the same like the male's terrarium.
