I like 1# better, it seems more realistic ... 2# is just way to dark

Alright, test subject #1 wins!

I'm just fixing up the last of the bugs and sending the file to Envy for testing.

The release will be in a few hours. Sit tight, guys. :-)

Name of Download: ZT2 ReShade ME

Creator(s): Narukota

Language(s): English

Expansions Required: None

Bugs: None as of right now, PM me if any

Credits: Crosire (ReShade developer), Lucifer Hawk (GemFX developer), CeeJay.dk (SweetFX developer),
Marty McFly (MasterEffect/McFX developer), Ioxa and JPulowski;
Special thanks to Envy for testing!

Description: ZT2 ReShade Me has a wide variety of effects made to enhance your the graphics of your game.
There are three packs: High, Medium, and Low.
Each pack contains the effects specifically made to fit the performance of your game/computer, hence the name.

ZT2 ReShade ME will contain the following effects:

Color:

Technicolor - Attempts to mimic the look of an old movie using the Technicolor three-strip color process. Algorithm from SweetFX

Cineon DPX - Should make the image look like it's been converted to DXP Cineon - basically it's another movie-like look similar to technicolor.

Tonemap - Adjust gamma, exposure, saturation, bleach and defog.

Curves - Contrast adjustments using S-curves.

Sepia - Sepia tones the image.

Color Mood - Applies a "mood" to the color, tinting mainly the dark colors.

Filmic Pass - Applies some common color adjustments to mimic a more cinema-like look.

Lighting:

Gaussian Anamflare - Applies a horizontal light beam to bright pixels.

Bloom - Makes bright lights bleed their light into their surroundings.

Lenz Flare - Boris Vorontsov's Skyrim Lensflare with custom offsets, ported to MasterEffect.

Chapman's lensflare - Simple lensflare shader with one big halo.

Godrays - Adds some light rays rotating around screen center.

Depth Based:

Ambient Occlusion - Enables physically incorrect shading that most newer gen games use. Multiple algorithms available.

Image Enhancements:

Sharpen - Sharps the image but may increase aliasing.

The packs will contain the following effects:

High Performance:

All effects stated above enabled, except for Chapman Lensflare

Medium Performance: Disabled SSAO, Gaussian Anamflare, Godrays, and Lenzflare

Low Performance: Disabled SSAO, Gaussian Anamflare, Godrays, Lenzflare, Chapman Lensflare, Bloom, Sharpen, and Tonemap

High Performance lags a lot; only suggested for heavy computers and photography use.

Medium Performance is suggested; slight lag, but tolerable.

Low Performance is light use; almost no lag.

Installation:

Extract files and folders from rar; select, copy all, and paste in your ZT2 Program Files directory.

Download

High Performance

Medium Performance

Low Performance

Enjoy!

Updates will release every time I configure new awesome effects and fix bugs!

@Narutoka I just want to say thanks so much for making this. I've looked for a shaders mod for ZT2 for a while now and I'm so happy to find this! Running it on an i7-core win7 laptop with 16gb ram and a nvidia card, and even hq settings run as smooth as could be! If I have any concrit whatsoever, it's that the gamma seems a bit TOO high, as it kind of eats the whole sky and washes out color a bit too much for my taste; too many highlights and not enough shadows to balance it out -- but then again this game came out in the dawn of time and I have no idea the daunting odds you had to overcome to make this in the first place. I have no right to complain because this is still an incredible thing you've created regardless. Thanks again for this!

You mentioned that there were different presents, also, but I'm unsure how to switch between them. Where would I go to do this? Sorry, and thanks again.

Thanks for the comment! Means a lot to me. :) I guess you can say this is a BETA version as I'm trying to configure ReShade to fully enhance ZT2 graphics that will satisfy everyone. I agree that there are some flaws here and there, but I am working on it daily and will release new updates every time I configure new ones.

As for the different presets that I have in that pack, they are as their names state.

High, Medium, and Low performance. Only use one of the 3, depending on how your computer can take it. I usually prefer Medium performance since it has most effects but not that laggy.

To install ReShade, download my latest release, and extract it from the rar file. Choose the ReShade performance you want, High, Medium, or Low.

Open the folder of the selected performance and there will be 3 files and 2 folders in it. Select all of them, copy, and paste it into your ZT2 Program Files folder.

ReShade should be successfully installed. ;)

Check out my PU projects topic or my Photography topic to keep up with my latest ReShade effects. I think you'll find Dawn effect in my Photography topic quite.. eye-pleasing. d:

That is one of two problems I have using it, you cannot see the clouds and empty sky clearly, and it washes out/brightens anything white to the point where it's blinding. Outside of that, it's really beautiful, but that's why I had to switch to Low performance.
