Hi this is Consultant, and I have some pets and I recently just got one. I have a schnauzer mix, a sand fire bearded dragon, a common snapping turtle, a red ear slider, a Western Painted Turtle, and my newest addition/early Christmas gift, a Cherryhead Red footed tortoise. Sadly I don't have photobucket or imigur and the like but I have some questions about the Cherryhead, he/she is still a baby, about 2.5 in. long and 1.5 in. wide. If someone owns a Cherryhead or red foot, then can you please help. I have done research for years on how to take care of desert species of tortoise, and my family bought me a forest dwelling tortoise (doesn't mean I don't love him, he's so cute ). I've got the basic care for a baby tortoise, high humidity, substrate he can't choke on, uvb and 75 watt bulbs, a 20 gallon long, a hide, food and water dishes he/she can't flip over in, and sphagnum moss that can keep the humidity. If I'm missing anything please let me know, I'll try to get pictures up soon if I can. Thank you!
