Utah. A land of deserts and mountains, seemingly lifeless. But in fact, the state is bustling with life. Zoo Tycoon 2: Ultimate Utah will bring over 10 of Utah's animals to your zoo; from the mischievous Mountain Coyote to the cute & cuddly Northern River Otter. Now, to the first reveal........... ![]() A lone Mountain Coyote (C. l. lestes) wanders about Northern Utah mountains. This coyote is a remake of Zerosvalmont's old, generic one. It replaces the old one, gives it subspecies-specific facts, renames it, and changes it's biome (EDIT: Sorry; I forgot to mention that I reskinned it.) Some coding is redone. Don't worry; the other animals will be original. Also, this is the first non-RR animal to utilize the Cold Desert biome! I have a species list practically set in stone, but feel free to suggest your favorite animals, as I may add them. Edited by Denomon3144, Dec 26 2014, 11:27 PM.

Looks nice from what I can see but the picture is really small and hard to see but it's good to see more people using RR's new biomes. Also I was wondering, are you sticking to modern day animals or will you be making prehistoric animals like Eolambia? |

Zeros remade his own coyote. Maybe you want to use the new model to make this subspecies ![]() What animals are going to be included in the expansion? Edited by Ignacio, Dec 27 2014, 12:30 AM.

Great to see some new packs coming along and with the raptors maybe change their biome into Temperate Rainforest? Personaly I think that it would fit them better as I doubt large raptors like Utahraptor and Deinonychus could run around a swamp and still hunt, but besides that everything checks out and this looks like it will turn into a great pack! |

Sorry but that's not true, my guanaco and andean flamingo already use the cold desert biome, and platypus' chiru uses it too. Interesting animal list, though maybe we could have a bigger picture of the coyote. Edited by Lgcfm, Dec 27 2014, 01:06 PM.

Well, technically, they are members of the Yellow Cat and the Mussentuchit, which were often-flooded, highly seasonal floodplains. And, thank you for notifying me that my coyote isn't the first cold desert animal. Edited by Denomon3144, Dec 27 2014, 01:16 PM.

I think I am going to like this pack (Dinosaurs) but I don,t think a brachiosaurus survive in a semi desert biome? (Good thing it can go in other biomes) well its your choice about the animals |

Well, the Morrison was a mix of semi-desert and wetlands. Anyways, I'm almost done with the White Bass. In the mean time................. ![]() For the record; the modern pack is the main focus and the extinct animals would be DLC if UU was official. Edited by Denomon3144, Dec 27 2014, 05:19 PM.
