Make a backup copy of your original zt.exe, then replace it with the appropriate patched zt.exe from one of the rar archives. Do not use a different version as it won't work properly.

Will it still be a little stretched?

I just gave it a shot, still seems to be a little stretched but definitely preferable to the black bars down either side. It's only the UI too, so it's not as bad as the whole image being stretched

I noticed that it isn't stretched in game but on the Welcome screen.

When you add the Z2F the 3D stretch is gone, but some parts of the UI don't match up with the rest anymore.

QueenVasilisa I see you are new here, so I suggest you read the rules, bumping old topics is not allowed on the site.

You see this is a pretty pointless rule, especially in cases like this that don't really get old...

I have the ultimate collection that I downloaded from pirate bay, where I need to mount the EA image to play, and I've tried every exe you've uploaded and sure, I get widescreen, but it's all stretched. I wasn't really clear on what to do with the zt2 widescreen file you uploaded so I tried putting it with each exe as well and that didn't work either. I must be doing something wrong, but just in case, I'll show you my original zt exe

The "Ultimate Collection" torrents that float around are not the acutal "Ultimate Collection", but rather just the individual expansions lumped into one torrent. So was yours, right?

So you'd have to replace your exe with the cracked EA exe from my dropbox, and then add the z_Widescreen.z2f into your ZT2 folder. Make sure it is the last file in your folder, and then you should no longer have stretching.

So I should put the no cd EA exe in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycoon 2

and then the z_widescreen in the same folder?
By last file do you mean when sorted alphabetically or by date?

EDIT: Yay! It worked! Thank you (^^<===

You likely used the wrong exe for your game.
