 I don't know if this is because you feel like your skinning skills are limited, but I'd really rather see totally new skins for new species rather than recoloring skins made by other designers.

I mean, I totally understand if you can't alter the meshes (I can't either), but putting an accurate skin on an existing model can go a long way, even if it isn't "ideal."

Just a suggestion.
