Thanks for all the nice comments!
It's indeed a Black-tailed Prairiedog yeah :D

As you can see, made some progress on the feet (added nails) and made progress on the seams (still some on the tail) and skin
Also, what do you guys think of the animations? I think beaver would work, since meerkats behave different in real life from Prairiedogs

Nice pine tree, I'd just suggest to make the crown less pointed and more "dome" shaped.

Pretty good for a start, but
-the trunk is too straight to be plausible, especially for pines. Firs sometimes have fairly straight trunks, but pines have that rarely.
-the twigs look like a fir rather than a pine. Pines have very long needles usually arranged in clumps, while firs have them spread evenly across the whole twig.
-the green twigs to the brown trunk transition is very abrupt, give the branches the color of the trunk

The pine tree looks great for a start, though the alphas look a bit weird. I suggest using a threshold of 100-120, and maybe playing with the flags settings a bit.

Hey, that looks pretty good :D Some things though:
-Looks like there is a seam on the back feet
-Maybe fix some issues on the head in front view, especially the nose

Oh, and the pine looks really nice for a first try ;)

Anyone has any models I can skin? I'm trying to improve my skills, so if you have any small project I can do today, just send me a model :D

The skin looks fantastic, Wes. Sadly I don't have any models you can skin, sorry. Can't wait to see more as always! :D
