I really like that Jeweled Gecko Tamara! Will there be different male and female variants? Great work! I would totally take the Skink without those needs. |

Yes there is two plain green females (dark and light) and a spotted one. The males are a green, a brown and a grey spotted with a slightly different pattern than the female. They also climb trees and are nesting already. I will recode the skink with their code (minus the climbing) to see if there is any improvement. |

That sounds excellent Tamara! Sounds like you are covering most of the locales, the Jeweled Gecko will surely be a favorite download of mine. Best of luck with the skink. |

Having a bit of a problem with the gecko, the game crashes when it gives birth. I will try to fix it but if I can't it may have to lay eggs. |

If anyone is interested, the design team still needs members. Poor Tamara Henson is mostly doing all the work. |

I got both lizards to work but they had to lay eggs. The copper skink has no needs as a baby since its small size makes it get stuck on everything. I made the adults larger than they should have been and now they get stuck only in the carcass feeder and (very rarely) in the burrows. A big improvement. Copper Skink ![]() Now for the next two animals that are being tested... The tallest bird of all time: the South Island Giant Moa... ![]() Unfortunately it distorts when laying down but otherwise it works great and I am waiting for the babys to grow up... ![]() The unique Wrybill... ![]() One more animal to go and this pack will be done ![]() |

Sorry everything is taking so long. Something (the copper skink, machairidus, or Geosternbergia) is causing the game to crash when going from Juvenile to adult. I need to test each one separately throughout it's lifetime to find out the problem and hopefully fix it. In addition Whalebite forgot the eat node for the wrybill so it cannot eat or drink so it will have no need for food/water other than for a prop. It also needs full testing before release. Thank you for being patient. |

Nothing to be sorry for. Getting things right takes time and we will happily wait for this great pack. |

All the New Zealand animals are tested and ready for release this weekend. It seems that the wrybill has another bug - it cannot reproduce. It gets pregnant and crouches to lay eggs but no egg appears. I have recoded the egg twice and the problem persists. It may be related to the same lack of nodes that prevents it from feeding. Otherwise it works so I will leave it as is. I forgot to share a couple of the earlier animals I made for the pack so here they are... New Zealand Pigeon (another Whalebite remake) ![]() and the Southern Tuatara... ![]() There is controversy over wither the two types of living tuatara are species or subspecies. No matter the truth the two species do NOT get along in game - thus the tuatara turf war here. ![]() The southern tuatara contains a hack to turn the WWD tuatara into the Northern Tuatara. It also adds a gift and an emote to the download for guests. The last animal in the pack is the only known native land mammal from New Zealand. The extinct St. Bathen's Mammal ![]() Now to finsish a few side projects before making more COTW packs. Edited by Tamara Henson, May 17 2018, 10:11 PM.
