I'm not sure what this is based on since I just released a smilodon and Danny's first project was a dinosaur... I don't think extinct animals are out of the possibility, but we are working on living ones for now.

IMO invertebrates would be nice to see since you are doing living ones first for example maybe a funnel web spider with a funnel for its shelter? or a box jellyfish? Edited by Cheshire Litten, Mar 7 2015, 05:04 PM.

I don't recall them asking for suggestions I'm sure they already have a list of species.

^yep. but on the note of extinct animals, there were so many unique and cool Aussie megafauna you could really have some fun with. |

@Dinosaw Not that this even merits a response but.... IF there even was something called an "idea giver" it would be the exact same thing as a suggestion. A suggestion is something you say to someone to give them an idea, therefore an "idea giver" would be nothing more than a suggestion, even if it wasn't something that you just made up. So you're not even using the definition for idea in the correct context to begin with. Argument invalid. Anyways, I eagerly await the next update. Also, I didn't comment on this before, but I love the way you're separating the animals into 4 main sections. Nice work on the icons, Danny. |

Helios, Susan made the icons. I helped with the renders, only by fixing up specks in the background and other minor edits. I came up with the logo idea, but Susan pretty much did all of it. Also, who said there's anything wrong with giving ideas/suggestions? I personally think that meeting the wishes of the community would be an important thing to look at for any designer. No point making a good pack if you don't include animals that everyone wants. ![]() Also, there is plenty of awesome Australian megafauna, as Chase said. While we have a plan for mainly living species (and mainly vertebrates) for now, I don't see why we can't include other animals later.

I know we've already talked about this, Zeebs, but I'd love to see a Brumby. And one of these guys would be cool too: Floral Banded Wobbegong Shark ![]() New to science and endemic to Australia (and Australia only!) ![]() Plus, saying "wobbegong" is just fun. |
