Even if it isn't aquatic could it not live in coastal areas, i think that's what they're trying to get at. |

ZT2 biomes are weird. Biomes that normally would only occur underwater also occur on land, and they don't depend on the depth or altitude in any way. In real life, as soon as you leave the water its an abrupt transition from Reef to Tropical Rainforest or what have you- there is no "reef" biome above the surface of the ocean. Since Drepanosaurus was not a marine animal, and since it lived much of its life in trees (which you won't find on the few bits of coral that do stick above the water) putting it in TR makes much more sense. |

Seeing the skin again, I think the transitions between the darker and lighter areas are too abrupt. IMO, they would look better a little more blurred. |

Interesing concept. I'm sure that animal is from the group of Biarmosuchia.. Maybe.. Herpetoskylax or Burnetia Edited by Jon Sam, Aug 29 2016, 09:17 PM.

Not as well versed in non-dicynodont therapsids as I probably should be but I'm gonna guess a Proburnetia. Whatever it is it sure looks very nice. |

Bullacephalus? Niuksenitia? Paraburnetia Burnetia fits the bill the most but you have added antlers or something. |

Ding ding ding! We have a winner! TDP, you have guessed it with Paraburnetia sneeubergensis. I'll mention Palaeodude in the ZP too, just 'cause he guessed its sister-species and you really can't tell the exact shape of the skull from the amount of soft-tissue I put on. @TDP: They're not exactly antlers. They're basically keratinous horns with only a slight boss of bone at the base. I got tired of all therapsids looking like clones of each other, so I decided to shake things up a bit and add some speculative soft tissue. Goodness knows they need it. |
