In an ideal world where you had more help I'd choose custom but if you want expediency, do Amato of Muttabara

Very great job on the Hadrosaur!
Tho I myself am not really fond of the color, so much grey and shiny it looks like it's made of metal IMO.

I might add a little more saturation to the belly, but most of that is on purpose. I'm very much of the opinion that Hadrosaurs were very flashy animals. It also might be the shading, which will look different ingame.

But thank you!

SQUAWK!

I have seen many hadrosaurs done, some never released. This, this may take the cake.

It looks graceful and thin though... will we see it chub up a bit(as you said it is far from done). You are the un-shrinkwrapper after all.

Not for this species. While I normally approve of chubbiness in my extinct animals, I am actually quite a fan of the graceful, slim look for Hadrosaurs. It sets them apart from the bulky, ponderous physique of practically every other large Mesozoic herbivore and gives them an elegance lacking in Sauropods, Ceratopsids and Thyreophorans. In addition, tight skin on the legs (especially the forelimbs, which were very gracile) would probably be more realistic for an animal of this size to prevent blood from pooling. (see Giraffes.)

Absolutely Amazing! Cant wait to have them honking around my zoo!

I have a couple questions too...

-Will there be sexual dimorphism?

-Will there be any other models, like Baby and Juvie/Sub?

Yes and Yes. Not only will there be distinct baby and juvenile stages, each with their own model, but I also intend to have an old stage.

The image of a thin and fit parasaurolophus running around a obese tyrannosaur just came to mind and I can't stop laughing at it.

Also I think we found skin and mummies of things other than edmontosaurus in hadrosauria so I'd assume we would know their shape better than other species.

Oh my gosh haha.

Yes, we do. Hadrosaurs are the best-sampled group of fossil dinosaurs in the world for soft-tissue.

Yes, that's correct. Image taken from Mark Witton's blog, which in turn was taken from some paper.

By the way, I got tired of sitting on the Giant Rhubarb. Have some dinosaur food.

So, I just thought of the way to make your critter perfect. Use the Saurolophus animations, but to fix the wonky forelegs, go the custom route slightly and just tweak those.

I mean, it seems pretty doable, depending on the number of animations the legs would need modifications in.
