Sure thing. Do you have six months of time and ten gallons of inspiration I can borrow?

Did this guy before the sabercat, actually. Just has some stuff in the coding to iron out. I'm not sure if it breeds, and if you put it in a hybrid exhibit it'll try to go on land, stranding itself and bugging the game so the guests all think it's escaped.

OMG we have needed a metrio update. Take your time on fixing the bugs though, at least to the extent you feel they need fixing.

so uh, random note about the sabertooth, you said it has baby variants on the download thread but unless the sabertooth has baby variants by default(which im pretty sure no vanilla animal has at all), the variants won't work bc you don't have the .tsk and .beh files in the mod z2f

there are lines of coding required in both the .tsk and .beh to make baby variants work, so while it has the xmls and textures, it doesn't have those two files so it won't work at all.

So I was perturbed by the lack of decent Saber-toothed cats out there... This was originally going to be for personal use only, but I got permission to release it. Made from AD's leopard model, with skin elements taken from their Leopard, Florida Panther, and Cheetah.

It's a remake, not a new animal; It'll behave exactly the same as the original BF sabercat. The only thing is I changed its biome to grassland, as this species was not limited to the forests, being found in a variety of environments across North America and western South America. It's fully compatible with lots of biomes, including cold desert, temperate forest, boreal forest, mediterranean, and temperate rainforest.

Click the picture to download. Thanks to AD for making the base model and skins, and DM for giving me permission to release it.
D: im crying because of how beautiful this is :adowable:  smilodons are my #1 favorite prehistoric feline

The original Smilodon does indeed have baby variants.

What is the Metriorhynchus coded from and is it supposed to go on land?

We know pretty much nothing about how Metriorhynchus reproduced, no fossils indicate that it produced live young, like Ichthyosaurs, & no Metriorhynchus eggs or nests have been found either.

The Crocodylia crocs- The swimming animations work really well. No, it's not supposed to go on land. Recent research suggests that they were too well-adapted to living in water to be able to move about when out of water. As well, research on their pelvic girdles may suggest that they were viviparous.
