Those Aquilops look cute, but their faces make them look like tiny bullies x3 And now I finally know what that mouth in your signature is!
I love the Deinonychus, too. I adore raptors. The feathers look great! I would hug it if it wouldn't kill me brutally.
Thanks! In the wise words of DevianArtist StygimolochSpinifer, " I will never not enjoy taking advantage of that palpebral bone to make them look like the maddest things in the Mesozoic."

It probably won't kill you brutally.

If I have time I will also be making a Sauroposeidon,
when you make your Sauroposeidon make it look more like a titanosaur rather than a brachiosaur due to being changed to the group Somphospondyli in the titanosaur family

I don't wish to insult you at all but that looked as if it came off as rude and demanding.

well yea obviously if he want to make it a brachiosaur go ahead but it would be more accurate if it was a titanosaur

Thanks for the info, Joe99! I always try to be as accurate when restoring extinct species as possible, so I appreciate helpful tips like that! Of course, this tip would be more useful if we had more complete Somphospondylan remains (if there are any, please tell me.)

Agustinia
Angolatitan
Argentinosaurus
Astrophocaudia
Brontomerus
Chubutisaurus
Diamantinasaurus
Gobititan
Huanghetitan
Liubangosaurus
Ligabuesaurus
Malarguesaurus

Sonidosaurus
Tangvayosaurus
Tastavinsaurus
Wintonotitan

That's good to know, but how many of them are known from remains complete enough that we can tell the proportions?

the most we have I think is Wintonotitan
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somphospondyli#mediaviewer/File:Wintonotitan_wattsi.png
but using other members of Somphospondyli you could full in the gaps

I don't know about anyone else, but I actually prefer this deinonychus to JFD's. I can't quite place my finger on it,but something about it looks a lot more realistic.

Although I'd agree that the snout could do with some more texture, but apart from that it's perfect ;)

JFD, like so many others, fell victim to "gorilla-suiting" their Deinonychosaurs. While this is perfectly acceptable considering we really have little idea of how thickly extinct dinosaurs were feathered, it makes them look somewhat emaciated and less like real animals then a thick coat of feathers on top of a healthy amount of fat and muscle would. I do not want to put down JFD or their work, which is amazing, but they could have put a little more fluff on their raptors.

Unfortunately Australian dinosaurs tend to be too fragmentary for me to feel comfortable restoring them, and unless I find out about one that makes me fall in love with it (as Aquilops did) I will likely not have the enthusiasm necessary to make them. You can find some Australian dinosaurs scattered around the community, however- Kingcobrasaurus made several a long time ago, and I have also seen Winototitan, Leaellynasaura, Australovenator and Quantassaurus at different times by different people. NO idea who made them or where they can be found, however.

And now something new for you all:

WARNING! Weird Animal Alert!
